Durable vintage & handmade items

In today's society it has become normal to throw away things you don't use anymore and quickly replace them with newly bought items, this happens too much in my opinion. Why buy new stuff if there are so many beautiful, old and useful items that you can use? My home is filled with almost only vintage and secondhand items and I wouldn't change a thing about it. Reuse is a good and easy way to contribute to a better environment, and with these unique beautiful vintage items from my shop it is very rewarding, don't you think?
Recycling is so much more than just reusing products, plastic, iron and so on, what about leftovers? Here are a few of my idea's about what you can do with your leftover food:

In order to go a step further with reuse, I also make tote bags from vintage fabrics such as curtains, duvet covers and tablecloths. This way you will get a unique, durable bag with a lovely print that you can use to do shopping so you will no longer need plastic bags.

Also for shipping I reuse cardboard boxes and filling materials from supermarkets and companies that would otherwise throw it away. So don't be surprised if your order arrives in a banana box filled with egg cartons for example :)

With my handmade and vintage products I'm not aiming for perfection. Imperfection is what makes these items unique. The beauty of vintage is that the items have already lived a completely different life before we take it into our homes. In my opinion some dents and scratches only make an item more beautiful and tell a story.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to buying. These charges are normally collected by the delivering freight (shipping) company or when you pick the item up – do not confuse them for additional shipping charges.

All of my orders are carefully wrapped so they will arrive in one piece. If it might happen that your order gets damaged by the shipping company, please contact me immediately and do the following things: Make pictures of the outside of the box, make pictures of the damaged items. Report the damage to your local post office with a claim form that I will provide. This I will need to be able to refund the money to you with a claim for the shipping company.

Orders leave my house within one to three days after ordering. After that it is in the hands of the shipping company. It will normally take 7 to 14 days to arrive depending on where you live. Please take in to account that this is an indication of the estimated delivery time and some times it could take up to 4 weeks to arrive. If your order didn't arrive within the given time frame, please contact me as soon as possible.
