I LOVE custom orders so please send me a message and I will be happy to customize for you. Everything in my shop is made to order, so if you see something you like, but want different colors or numbers no problem.

Greetings! Welcome to Sew Special Shop. Everything here is handmade and one of a kind (OOAK). I have a smoke-free and pet-free studio. Please contact me with any questions you may have, and I will respond in a timely manner.

Customer service is equally important to me as the products I create. I take pride in the honest and special relationship I have with every treasured customer.

Please be sure to view my shop policies BEFORE you make a purchase. The policies listed below were created with you in mind to keep costs low and for quick, easy and secure purchases.

Payment

I accept payment through Direct Checkout, Paypal and Etsy Gift Cards

If you choose to pay via Paypal, please note that you DO NOT need a Paypal account to pay for your purchase. Paypal accepts credit and debit cards. .

Once you've made your purchase on Etsy, please follow the link to Paypal. Please note that your transaction is not complete until you have gone to the Paypal website to pay for your purchase.

I do not accept cash, checks or money orders.

In following Etsy's policy regarding payment, I do require payment at the time of purchase. In the event of no payment and no response via e-mail after 48 hours, the purchase will be cancelled.

eCheck Notice: Please note that echeck orders will NOT BE PROCESSED until the FUNDS ARE CLEARED in my account. Please add 3-5 days to all delivery times to accomodate.

Coupon Codes
Coupon code MUST be entered/applied during checkout to receive discount. Please note that customers can only use coupon codes on non-sale items.

Sales Tax and Indiana Residents
I am located in the State of Indiana, and it is required that I charge Indiana residents sales tax on their purchase and shipping cost. Also, I am required to collect sales tax on orders being shipped to the state of Indiana.

Shipping

Please note: I need 10 business days to complete your order. This does not include shipping time (approx. 5 business days for domestic orders, longer for international orders). Any orders

ADDRESS CONFIRMATION:
Please note that I will ship to the address you entered on Paypal. Please make sure your address is up to date on Paypal's website before you complete payment or your purchase may go to the wrong address. If your Paypal address differs from the address you list in Etsy, I will request address confirmation via Etsy convo and/or e-mail prior to shipping your order.

Shipping is done after I receive payment confirmation from Paypal. I ship twice a week, usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays. My default shipping is First Class mail by United States Post Office (USPS). Delivery confirmation is included with all purchases. I will send a shipping notification by e-mail when your order has shipped. Due to the extreme care I put into packaging your items securely to prevent damage, please note that I am not responsible for lost or damaged items.

Insurance is recommended, but it is not included in shipping costs listed with the items. If you are interested in purchasing insurance, please contact me before making your payment and I can setup a custom listing for you.

All items are shipped using USPS First Class Mail. Please be sure to order at least two weeks in advance of your event date. I am not responsible for delivery delays or timing once the items leave my shop. If you need your items GUARANTEED, please choose "Priority Shipping" in the Shipping Upgrade section to upgrade to USPS Priority shipping.

Unfortunately at this time I do not ship items to APO FPO addresses.

I do ship items to P. O. boxes

Shipping to rural areas: If USPS does not ship to the location we cannot guarantee that the package will get there and do not recommend shipping to that location. If you choose to select this shipping address and it does not arrive Sew Special Shop will not refund or replace the order. In these situations the recipients often have a USPS P.O. Box, which Sew Special Shop will ship to. If you are unsure whether USPS ships to this location we recommend you call 1800 ASK USPS for clarification.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
International customers: International orders are shipped USPS First Class International mail and will take approximately 3 weeks for arrival. Please be sure to order at least 4 - 5 weeks or more in advance of your event date. If you would like to upgrade shipping to priority, before placing your order please send a convo to notify me and I can setup a custom listing for you. If you would like insurance, before placing your order please send a convo to notify me and I can setup a custom listing for you.

INTERNATIONAL shipments are shipped USPS First Class International unless otherwise arranged. All customs duty fees and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. I do not mark international orders as "gift", and I do not undervalue the contents of the package on the customs form as that is against the law .

I am happy to combine shipping whenever feasible, please e-mail me prior to payment to request combined shipping.



Refunds and Exchanges

Sew Special Shop takes great pride and detail in the items that are created in the shop, so I am certain that you will enjoy your purchase.

If you need to return your item, please contact the shop via convo/e-mail within 3 days of receipt, for refund/exchange instructions. Sorry, we cannot refund shipping and handling. Item(s) must be in original condition (ie. no damage, marks, odors or pet hair). The buyer is responsible for cost of shipping AND tracking service to return item to shop, unless there was an error on my part.

For exchanges: The item will be shipped USPS First Class mail. If buyer wants expedited shipping, it will cost the buyer the additional cost beyond USPS First Class mail. For shipping upgrade, please choose "Priority Shipping" in the Shipping Upgrade section to upgrade to USPS Priority shipping.

Custom and personalized merchandise are non-returnable, unless an error has been made on my part. If an error is made on my part, the buyer must contact the shop via convo/e-mail within 3 business days of receiving the item. The item will be remade exactly how it was ordered--same size, color, style, design, etc. and shipped USPS First Class mail. If buyer wants expedited shipping, it will cost the buyer the additional cost beyond USPS First Class mail.

If your item arrived damaged, please contact the shop via the "Contact Shop" link within 24 hours of your package receipt. Please place the words 'Product Damage' in the subject line of your convo. If your order was damaged we'll need photos of the damaged item(s) and damaged box, if applicable. Both of these items will be needed to begin reimbursement via the Mail Carriers. We will respond to your e-mail with further instructions.

PLEASE NOTE: No additional changes are allowed after you confirm my order and address confirmation that is sent to you via etsy convo.

Disclaimer: Regarding items with embellishments, please note that it is the consumer's responsibility to monitor the fitting and wear and tear of the items that are purchased for children. Consumer is responsible for determining the suitability of this product from this shop for their individual situation and assumes all responsibility/liability by purchasing this product. Adult supervision is required while in use by children.
