Hello!

Hi! My name is Emily and I am the sewist behind Sew Darn Close. As a stay-at-home mom to 3 daughters, I spend most of my time caring for them however, I have always loved arts and crafts. I found my love of sewing over 10 years ago and have focused on it ever since. Once my first daughter was old enough to hold a crayon, I began passing down my love for creating by doing art activities with her. Being able to sell my creations has allowed me to continue to stay home with my children while doing something I enjoy. My love for art has grown and I have a desire to support artists and calligrapher's in their craft by making it easy to store and bring their art supplies with them wherever they find inspiration. I also use designer fabrics from reputable manufacturers to further support the artists that originally painted the designs and buy from other small business owners whenever I can.
