A lovely beginner pattern that turned out great! I used some 30s reprint fabric I had and used the instructions to make a reversible dress in only 2 hours!

This is a fine pattern. It is very streamlined. Because it lacks the details of many of the other designers, I was going to give it a 4star. But "Hint" doesn't claim to be more than what she is. These are attractive patterns, and my 1812 dress was sold the first day it was listed!

Absolutely adorable dresses, and a very nicely made PDF sewing pattern. Will definitely be coming back for more!

Vintage-Inspired Patterns for Today
Amanda Kastner has always loved history, dresses, colors, and drawing--what better way to combine them all than to design and sew historically-inspired clothing? Since learning to draft sewing patterns as a teen, she's been hooked on creating unique designs with a distinctly vintage taste, coupled with ease of construction and practical wearability. The hobby grew into a cottage business, and the line of Hint of History sewing patterns was launched in 2006.
I recently moved the shop, but you can check out reviews of my previous shop here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/frivolousdistinction/reviews?ref=shop_info
My designs are available as "real" arrive-in-the-mail patterns here: http://www.hintofhistory.com
I am also on Etsy as Frivolous Distinction:
I'm a pattern designer, seamstress, and artist who loves to read old books, design and sew original clothing, and generally raise the fire hazard level of the house with ever-present, ever-shifting stacks and drifts and mountains of papers.
