    I love making bowls!

Hello! My name is Vicki Wimsett. 4 Years ago, my husband gave me a $100 Walmart sewing machine. I didn’t even know how to thread it! After watching tutorials and learning to sew a straight line. I was on my way. I eventually taught myself to make quilts. I made about 29 on that little machine. I had to have them long armed by someone else. I felt a part of the quilt wasn’t mine. I upgraded my machine and taught myself to free motion quilt, and the story goes on! Then I learned to make bowls and baskets. I feel like I am on a potters wheel when I make them. They are so amazing to make, and each one is unique! I had found my niche. 😊

I taught my daughter to make these baskets and bowls. I am showcasing some of her pieces.
