SewingJoyfulSeeds is where I offer to you, the overflow from my passion for creative sewing.
I first used my mom's sewing machine when I was 11 years old and when I was 12, I got my very own Singer Stylist 534. Nothing fancy, just a sturdy dependable straight stitcher that I still use today.
Starting with doll clothes and then making clothes for myself, I discovered that I enjoyed adding my own twist to any new project. From there it grew beyond clothes to quilts, purse/bags/totes, small accessories, custom window dressings and various miscellaneous projects, but whatever I am currently working on I still try to add my own unique twist to it.
I love my work (as a friend put it, sewing is my life) and in my enjoyment of it I strive to provide you with excellent made and serviceable items.
