Announcement   Welcome to Sewing on the Edge. I'm so happy you have stopped by.

In my nearly fifteen years of quilting, I carefully trimmed the selvage edge off each side of the fabric and threw it away. Then I started paying attention to all those intriguing words and bits of color.

In this modern era of "green living," Sewing on the Edge repurposes these little bits of selvage into something useful, sustainable and beautiful--sure to become a conversation starter.

Currently I only have pincushions in the shop. But I'll be adding more things soon, all using selvages, all unique and interesting. So check back soon!

You can read more about me and see more of my work on my blog, Live a Colorful Life (www.aroundtheblockdesigns.blogspot.com)
