I can't recommend Amanda and Sew In theFaith high enough. I'm a BRCA carrier and have been planning on having a preventative double mastectomy for several years and everything aligned this past February. I'm a huge side sleeper and I've had some complication issues with the reconstruction process, etc. so even after I was approved to sleep on my side, I was unable to for several reasons. Amanda and I discussed my specific issues and after putting together a mockup, sent it along WITH two other pillows she thought might help (n/c). I'm happy to say that with a few modifications, I think she will absolutely be able to help anyone who may need a more specific mastectomy pillow to help them with their recovery. She truly cares and has helped make my life easier during a very stressful time. I'm incredibly thankful to have found her.

About

Doing what you love and loving what you do.

It all began less than four years ago when we first put our shop up on etsy. We didn't know much, but we thought we would give this a try. Myself, My grandmother in law, Jan and her good friend Helga gathered up all our handmade items, took pictures and learned everything there was too know about putting our items online. It took the help of my brother Alex to get us set up and going but after training from him we had it! He also helped us choose our name which we loved!
We had a slow start but after about three months we finally got an order! We all were so excited!
Since then we have continued to make things that we love and have even found some things to make that could help comfort people. Our loved shop member Helga also decided to make a shop of her own here on etsy with her daughter but we support her choice and if you would like to know the name of her shop, just ask.
For now we continue to make things that inspire us, and hope to be a blessing to people around the country! We also have shipped to different places in the world but only do it if asked.
Thank you for reading and have a blessed day!

My name is Amanda and I began being interseted in sewing as a young girl because my mother sewed. When I became an adult and had children, I picked up making childrens clothes. Then on to embroidery, applique',quilts and now I love to make aprons. With the help of my Grandmother-in-law Jan, I have grown to really love sewing.

Jan began sewing with her grandmother at a very young age, was in 4/H and home economics. In her adult life she sewed her children clothes and made clothes for other people. She always felt that sewing was a great therapy. She did crafts for a number of years, then began quilting, machine embroidering, and hand embroidering.
