I am extremely AMAZED & speechless! I’ve been dancing for 20 years, also professionally & needed a new great quality garment bag to take my costumes to all my gigs. It’s 1 of the best hula investments i made since i started working for a production company. INCREDIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & SUPERSONIC SHIPPING. Owner was quick & responsive to all my questions. I was able to send a picture of a specific fabric design i wanted and, she definitely delivered! Extra long, perfect for long dresses & the QUALITY is FABULOUS! I wish the zipper was bigger though. She also gifted a matching, small accessory bag. She made sure i was satisfied with everything. I absolutely LOVE it & i HIGHLY recommend this shop!!!

I was so thrilled to get my garment bag in the mail. She picked the cutest print. I can't wait to use it! Seller is really easy to work with. Once I picked a color, I was surprised how quickly I received it!

About

Inspired by hula!

I have been sewing costumes for my hula sisters for about thirty years and now I have decided to turn that skill into a small business. However, it's not just a business for me. It's more about providing a service for those who are no longer living on the island, those who are inspired by the islands or those who are unable to sew for themselves.

Living on the island of Hawai'i, I find new inspiration every day for my "tropical" line.

Inspired by hula! How can you live in Hawaii and not be inspired by the colors of rainbows, the flowers, the 'aina and lei?.

Aloha...e komo mai...come on in for a visit. Everything in my shop is handmade in Keaau, Hawai'i. I use beautiful tropical Hawaiian print fabrics. My items transcend my love for the islands and my passion for hula. So, stop in and browse, or drop a line just to say aloha.

Returns and exchanges
If an item is lost or damaged, I will refund your account through PayPal or your credit card. If a pa'u (hula skirt) is damaged, before refunding, I require the damaged skirt to be returned as I can recycle the four or five yards of fabric. I will refund the shipping costs to you.
Payment
I accept Direct Deposit through Etsy with your credit card or through Pay Pal. Taxes are included. If you have a deadline to reach, please give me advanced notice as it takes time to get across our ocean.
Shipping
I try and ship as quickly as possibly. If it is one or two items I can usually get them out in a day or two. If it is for an entire class it may take a week or two. If you have a special request, please allow an extra day or two. For example, if you need ten hula skirts for your class, please give me at least a week to make them. I'm happy to fulfill requests for different sizes or colors and will convey my time requirements prior to the order. Just drop me a message and I will get back to you. I generally use first class for smaller items and priority flat rate envelopes or boxes for larger shipments in order to keep the rate as low as possible yet still fast.
Additional policies and FAQs
At this time I do not ship internationally as the rates have become astronomical. However, as a special request, I can do this. All taxes (VAT, etc) and duties are the responsibility of the buyer. I do ship via APO or FPO to foreign countries.
