Announcement   **Clearing out the stash, will be taking a hiatus soon......Thank you for visiting Sewn Home. I hope you find something that inspires you to create and to take time from your busy day to cozy up with needle, thread, and fabric.

**La Croix & la Maniere-Monique Lyonett’s gorgeous and chic stitchery storefront in Paris

Please do not support intellectual thievery on ETSY. It has pained me for almost two years to see an ETSY seller reselling French linens, buttons, ribbons, scissors, accessories and stitch books on ETSY from France that have simply been purchased at Monique Lyonett’s gorgeous stitch shop in Paris and resold to ETSY buyers at a premium. Particularly offensive is the fact that certain items being resold on ETSY are unique to Monique’s shop. Monique’s shop has been in Paris for many years. Monique is an author of several chic stitch books that you likely own (and over-paid for). Monique’s website is in French, but is tremendously navigable with the aid of google translate. You can send an email to Monique. Her English is perfect. Please, buy these items directly from Monique and not from someone who has plagiarized Monique’s business concept for the last two years. You will save money too. (When I last conversed with Monique, she was crediting VAT back to international buyers of large orders from her shop. Go in with a friend, get a big order together from Monique's shop, share shipping costs, and ask Monique about VAT.)

*****Please, remember that when paying with a credit card for purchases abroad, you will likely be charged a surcharge for currency conversion by your credit card company. This is usually a percentage of your total purchase abroad. Also, this time of year, delivery from europe can be quite slow.*********

I want to make sure that each customer is as happy as possible with their purchase and their buying experience. I will provide you with as much information up front as I can and as you request via a convo.

Accepted payment methods

Payment
SewnHome accepts payments through PAYPAL. You do not need to open a PayPal account in order to use PayPal. You can click the option to pay with a credit card and by-pass setting up an account.
Shipping
I will combine shippng on multiple items purchased. Most books are mailed in a padded envelope for protection via US First Class Mail. I can fit up to two books in a padded envelope, or a book and some linen. Depending on weight, multiple books may also be shipped via USPS Media Mail with delivery confirmation or a USPS Flat Rate Priority Mail envelope. Slightly larger books will be wrapped for protection and sent via USPS Media Mail with delivery confirmation. Media mail can take up to 6 business days to reach you. If you would prefer faster delivery for multiple books purchased, I will price out First Class and Priority Mail for your approval. These two options are considerably more expensive. Depending on weight, multiple fabric purchases can be sent via First Class or Prioity Mail. If you have questions, please convo. me. I will be happy to answer your questions. I am flexible on shipping. I will quote you the most economical option by which I can also protect your books for your approval. I am flexible, but I prefer not to just drop your books in a flat rate envelope that offers no protection, unless it is one or two books that I can protect for you(and they fit).
Refunds and Exchanges
Sewn Home does not accept returns. I will always try to vividly describe products to you. Please convo. me with questions and concerns before you make a purchase.

For reasons of copyright and the inability to sell a book again as "new" once a spine has been creased, surface scratches are present on the covers, pages have been soiled or bent, or other damages occur from handling or re-shipment, etc. If you are uncertain about a book, please convo me. I will do my best to answer all of your questions and concerns before you make a purchase.

In the event that I have made an error on your order, I will make your order right to ensure that you have only an excellent experience shopping with Sewn Home.
Additional policies and FAQs
