What Information Do I Have About You . . .
When you place an Etsy order I receive an Order Confirmation with gives me your (user)name, email address, postal address, the method of payment you've used and details of the goods ordered. If you've placed a custom order you may also have provided additional information about your requirements via your order form or an Etsy Conversation.
If you contact the shop or Ask a Question about products then the only information I receive is your (user)name; your email address is kept anonymous.

Why I Need This Information and How I Use It . . .
I need this information to handle your order and to provide you with information about your products, delivery and service, and to provide customer support if necessary.
Your name and postal address will be used to deliver orders for actual goods.
Your name and email address may be used to complete orders for patterns (digital files).
I will contact you through Etsy to confirm shipping of your order.
I may contact you via Etsy Conversation if there are any issues with your order.
I may contact you via Etsy Conversation to request permission to re-use any images you upload as part of a purchase review.
I will respond to you via Etsy Conversation if you've contacted the shop or Asked a Question about a product.

Sharing Personal Information . . .
I share your personal information for very limited reasons and in limited circumstances, as follows:
Etsy | I share your information with Etsy as necessary to provide you my services and comply with my obligations under both the Etsy Seller Policy and Etsy Terms of Use.
Service Providers | I share only the information required with companies that help get your order to you, such as Royal Mail.
I do not share your personal information with any other companies outside Etsy.

Marketing . . .
I will not use your personal information to contact you for the purposes of marketing, product updates or newsletters.

Keeping Your Information . . .
I hold on to your information for as long as is necessary to meet legal or regulatory requirements, resolve disputes, prevent fraud and abuse, or enforce Etsy terms and conditions.
The Etsy Order Confirmation I receive is held as a record for accounts and tax purposes and is kept offline, in digital format, for 6 years.
