Two sisters who live across the miles who share a passion for creating beautiful mittens.

Eco-friendly, Sustainable, Repurposed Wool Mittens

We are sisters Alice from Wisconsin and Linda from Illinois and we are creators of Sew Sisters Sew Sweater Mittens. We repurpose wool, cashmere, and angora sweaters by turning them into cozy mittens. Each pair is cut and sewn in our homes right here in in the heartland of America.

We are drawn to wool because of its natural texture, warmth and comfort. Our mittens are lined in fleece for extra warmth and softness and promise to bring a smile to your face every time you put your hands in them.

We have fervor for heading to vintage, resale shops, and the back of someone’s closet to rescue sweaters that have just the right colors and textures that will work together. It is our hope that this passion and dedication to style and sustainability shows in each piece we create.
