Announcement
I specialize in one of a kind landscape and nature postcards featuring outdoor scenes. These handmade quilted fabric postcard art quilts can actually be mailed and when received, they can be framed. A card and gift all in one!
These little pieces of art make appreciated hostess gifts for under $20. Need wedding party gifts? These are the perfect solution. Each one can be customized to reflect the recipient's personality.
Most of the pieces in the shop are 4" by 6", some are 5" by 7" but I can make any size up to 11" by 14". I love the challenge of a custom order. I can customize using YOUR photo.
Gift wrapping and shipping directly to the recipient of the gift is a service I gladly provide. Add a message when ordering or send a conversation through ETSY.
My work is featured here:
* Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, TN
* Hamilton Williams Gallery in Morganton, NC
* Art Quilting Studio Magazine Summer 2015, Winter 2019 and Autumn 2019.
*Sew Somerset Winter 2018 issue.
The quilted fabric postcards are made by adding layers of fabric to create the design and then stitching each layer. It's a multi step process. Each quilted fabric postcard is individually made.
How can a quilted fabric postcard be used? Send as a greeting card for a special occasion or just because. When it is received, it can be framed or rested on an easel and kept forever.

If you are getting married, consider listing some of my items in Etsy's gift registry. http://www.etsy.com/registry/
I'm not designated as a "Star Seller" by Etsy because I don't sell enough items and don't meet the minimum amount of money. I have been on Etsy since 2007, have all 5 Star reviews, mail all orders out either the day I receive the order or the next working day, and answer all conversations/messages within a few minutes of receiving them. So I consider myself a star seller. What do you think?
Please make assure that you have entered the right mailing address. If you didn't receive your item due to wrong address you provided you will be responsible for re-shipping cost. Please keep track of your delivery day so you know when its being delivered. Package Theft is not covered with Shipping insurance and we will not replace at our expense.

5 out of 5 starsMy friend made a custom order of 5 cards from Linda. Got them today and they are literally breathtaking. The detail is absolutely stunning. All of the little touches and creativity just take these cards to a new level. The fabrics she used have such tiny detail and the stitch styles she used enhances the final scene in the card at a whole new level. You flip through to admire them and you just get lost in them. Linda they are just spectacular. I am sure they will be passed down through the generations. Quality. Quality. Quality. Thank you for taking her order.

5 out of 5 starsThe custom cards are delightful and beyond my expectations. The fabrics used for the full moon and house have varying color patterns as real ones would. I can’t wait to mail them out for Christmas. Thank you so much. Even your mailer had palm trees on it; now that’s attention to detail!

Affordable small quilts that can be sent in the mail and kept forever.
When I first heard about Etsy, I joined as a buyer and later decided to add a shop. I first sold purses and children's clothing. Since I didn't like the first name I chose, after a few months, I opened a new shop with a new name. Thus, Sew Upscale was born in 2007. It took awhile for me to find my niche but when I started making the landscape quilted fabric postcards, I knew it was my market. In addition to Etsy, my postcards and are offered for sell at Hamilton Williams Gallery in Morganton, NC. In the past, my quilted magnet and postcards were sold in the gift shop at the Texas Quilt Museum and Mountain Made in Asheville, NC. My fabric art has been published in Art Quilting Studio Summer 2015, Winter 2019, and Autumn 2019 and Sew Somerset Winter 2018. I also made some artwork for RJR Fabric using Danscapes fabric that was used for advertising. I have many pieces on display at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
I am a one person operation and everything is handmade by me.
I have decided to add some vintage items so from time to time, I will have a variety of vintage items for sale.

Can the post cards actually be sent in the mail?
Yes they can. The address can be written directly on the back of the postcard and then inserted into the clear vinyl mailer provided. It is better to have it hand stamped instead of sending through the machine. It costs about $1.00 to mail.
Can the postcards be framed?
Yes. They are 4” by 6” or 5” by 7” and fit nicely into a standard inexpensive frame.
I have a special photo. Can you do a custom piece for me?
I love doing custom pieces. If you have a photo you would like made into fabric, pleasesend me a message.
Is your artwork original?
Yes, it is always my own design. I make one of a kind pieces. Sometimes the designs are similar but the fabric will be different.
