    Welcome to The Irish Lass

    How am I?
I am a mother of 3 fantastic kids (1989, 1997 & 2000) and a grandma to a very spunky little boy (2008). I am married to a very supportive and loving husband although sometimes I may test his love to much. I have been crocheting for since 1971 when my maternal grandmother taught me. I worked at a Super Yarn Mart in Seattle in my teen years and started reading patterns in my late teens early 20's. I mostly do my own thing now without patterns.

I have taught all my kids how to crochet, several girl scout troops and some 4Hers and other solitary people here and there.

I have been knitting since 2001 and sewing since 1994

To keep costs low I ship via USPS first class mail when ever possible. If you prefer a quicker shipment option please chose an upgrade to your shipping option at time of purchase. I always ship within the time frame listed in each listing but I can not guarantee timely shipping once the post office receives the package. Please allow extra time for delivery during the holidays.

Sometimes packages do get stolen or go missing and for that reason I insure each package and get a tracking number. If you encounter anything like this please contact your local post office ASAP so they can start the location process.
