Announcement   Welcome to my shop!
I love designing and making things for people, especially children and would be honored to make a one-of-a-kind creation for you. Select from wool, washable wool, cotton or acrylic yarns in a very wide range of colors. Extra soft materials for baby's comfort. Funky fun yarns for special effects. I take pleasure in doing superior work so that you can be proud to wear or give things you buy from me. I live in a smoke-free and mold-free home as I am allergic to both!
I have an extensive library of patterns from which to choose so don't hesitate to ask me about any projects you have considered.

Shamrocks are my favorite symbols. I'm part Irish, a natural redhead and often quite lucky. I have an incredible husband, six wonderful children and five grandsons! Yarn is my passion.

I volunteer as a knitting teacher at the local high school's alternative learning center twice a week during the school year and lead classes in knitting and crochet at my local yarn shop. Seems I always have needles or a hook in my hands so I might as well be working on something special for YOU! Yes, I admit it. I'm a creative yarn addict!

You can accompany me on my journey via Facebook. Just look for Shamrock Knits and "Like" my page there! To see my latest projects, you can find me as GrannyLynn on ravelry.com.

Payment
I'm pretty easy to work with but being in business, we do have to follow some rules to insure we enjoy a win/win experience. If payment for your purchase is not received within 72 hours, items will be relisted. If final payment on special orders is not received within 72 hours of notification, I will make every attempt to contact you again via phone and email. However, if you have not paid the balance owed within a four day period, I will list the project for open sale and your deposit will be forfeited.
PayPal and Money Orders sent via overnight mail are my preferred ways to receive payment.
If you wish to pay by personal check, I must wait for your check to clear the bank before shipping your order.
I will send you the date and method your purchase is shipped.
I'm not responsible for lost orders so I strongly suggest you request replacement insurance.
For custom orders, I like to have a 25% deposit before I begin the work. The balance is due upon your receiving notice from me that the project is completed. I will email pictures to you of the work in progress so you can have an idea how things are going with your special project. Before beginning any special / custom orders, I will do my best to give you an estimated time of completion based on my experience. If other orders are in the queue before yours, I will keep you posted regarding the anticipated delivery time of your order.
Shipping
Being from the 'greenest' state in the country, I ship using recycled materials as much as possible, however, I make sure your purchase arrives clean and well protected.
UPS and USPS Priority Mail are usually used for shipping. I use the most economic method available unless you wish to pay the difference. Patterns are usually transmitted as PDF files via email attachment.
Refunds and Exchanges
You pay the shipping for any returns. Upon their receipt, I will mail your refund myself.
Hats are non-returnable for sanitary reasons. Not responsible for lost items.
Non-custom items (except hats) can be returned for a 5% restocking fee within ten days.
Custom made items are not returnable unless there is an obvious flaw. That is why it is so important to provide correct measurements and communicate with me regarding your hopes and expectations.
Additional policies and FAQs
I cannot work with angora materials due to severe allergies.

You are a special and unique person so why not enjoy handmade things that are just as special and unique? I love to do custom orders. Please see my Alchemy information.
