About ShanaPatry
Hello! My name is Shana Patry and I'm 23 years old. I'm a full time painter and illustrator located in Saguenay, QC, Canada. Art has always been a top priority in my life, so it felt completely logical to pursue this path!
I share my life with my fiancé, our cat, rabbit and turtle. I have a huge collection of tea and I'm really into crystals, oddities and cool stuff I can find outside. I always try to stay connected with nature!
It's really important for me to create artworks that brings something new, that are different from the reality we are used to. To me, each new artwork is a new playground and I enjoy challenging myself!
My achievements:
- I did 5 solo shows in local coffee shops and microbreweries.
- I won three scholarship for my implication in college.
- I produced 2 self-edited illustration books.
- I completed a college formation in Visual Arts at Cégep de Jonquière in 2015.
- I participated to more than twenty christmas markets, comic conventions and crafts fairs.

Care instructions
Unless stated otherwise, original paintings on canvas never require an additional frame and are ready to hang, with a metal wire in the back. Simply hammer a nail into your wall, and hang your painting!
For prints and original watercolors, it is very recommended that you display them in a photo or picture frame (not included unless specified) and that you keep them away from direct sunlight and humidity. Do not display them in your bathroom.
Is my picture good enough for a pet portrait?
If you have any doubt your picture might not be good enough, simply contact me through Etsy and send it to me! I'll get back to you quickly and tell you honestly if it is okay or not. There is a good chance that it is a great picture!
I ordered my portrait but I don't know how to send you my picture...
While checking out, you can include a "Note to seller" but there is no option for attaching a picture. You can use this space to write your animal name and some details like the desired color for the background.
To send me your picture, you have to "Contact the seller", either before or after ordering. It will start a conversation, and there will be a button to join your picture! You can send more than one (up to three) and let me pick if you have any trouble choosing!
