1 out of 5 starsWill never buy from again and will encourage others to go elsewhere! I NEVER received my item in over a month and I've tried MULTIPLE times to contact, with absolutely no reply whatsoever. Having to do a claim through PayPal just to get my money back.. DO NOT BUY.

5 out of 5 starsI ordered this piece as a Christmas gift for a local women's domestic violence shelter. It turned out incredibly well! The quality of the glass and frame are outstanding. I look forward to ordering more pieces in the future.

A peek into me and a story I don't often tell. <3
Last year I was having a conversation with a then buddy of mine and we got talking about glass and the different things people do with it. Started talking about things that we've not seen but would be cool if it could be done. Then the experimenting began. :) This is how Shattered Art was born. Nearly one year later and I'm still loving every minute of it. I love the process...I love seeing the final piece...I love the *mystery* of the final piece especially. "Mystery? What mystery? You're creating it! Don't you pay attention to what you're doing?" you ask... well the process of Shattered Art involves controlling the break of glass to form the images I want. Because I can only control the break so much (otherwise it'd just be laser etching or something) it becomes a bit random. The glass takes on a mind of it's own and every single time creates something that I *never* expected (although..I do expect it. paradox?) it to do...but *always* ends up looking so beautiful! Did a piece for a guy named Chez once...really cool guy. He wanted his name done. So...I went to work...well...part way through on the letter "E" the glass decided to make a nice 'spider crack' right in the dang middle of itself. "BAH!" I thought initially. "RUINED!" But nope...finished it off...stepped back..took a look. Now...the piece was looking really good before it happened, don't get me wrong. But *after*...wow. It was like the perfect break. Nothing that could EVER be recreated (believe me..I've tried...and I'm really good at breaking it how I want lemme tell ya. ;D ). Things just like this happen in every single piece of my Shattered Art. As if there's another force at play working with me to help me create the beautiful. This is why every single piece I make is completely unique. With it's own story to tell as if it has it's very own history and its decided to tell it through the breaks it carries. But isn't that how all of our most interesting and best stories are told? Through what at first glance seem like complete imperfection and tragedy?
Thanks for being interested in me enough to read through that. It means a lot to me. :)
