I started making jewelry in 2006 in Seattle. I have always loved rocks & gemstones & collecting them as a little girl and decided to take some classes. My first jewelry sale was in 2006 in a grocery store checkout line. A woman in front of me asked me where I got my necklace, it was one of the first necklaces I'd made and I just sold it to her right there! I then took several jewelry making classes and got into metalsmithing as well. I started selling and consigning my jewelry to local boutiques immediately and one thing just led to another. I have built an amazing local network of business owners and artists over the years, it has been the funnest ride of my life!
I tried opening my Etsy shop in 2008 while I was simultaneously managing a busy Seattle coffee shop. Needless to say, I had to put Etsy off because of the busy schedule I had! I finally left the coffee business in 2010. This left me with plenty of time to focus on working on my Etsy shop. I officially opened my Etsy shop in 2011 and started listing items and spending hours studying Etsy, expanding my Etsy network and sharing with my Facebook and Instagram friends. Since then it has just been amazing! I am selling my jewelry all across the world and meeting amazing people all along the way!
I am a one woman show! I design & make all of the items in my shop. My studio is a beautiful creative space with plants everywhere and a view of the most beautiful lake in Seattle! I put on my music and turn my desk lights on and let the creative juices FLOW!!
