Pendant is absolutely perfect. My Mom loved it and was thrilled that it came from the same year she was born. She kept exclaiming over how original it was. I know she'll wear it often. Pendant was shipped quickly. Thank you for helping make my Mom's Mother's Day a great one!

The seller was very helpful and communicative. When it turned out that there was a different shipping cost to Canada, she messaged me right away and gave me the option of cancelling my order. The item was shipped very promptly and was as described.

About

Finding new creativity in my 60s by repurposing antique silverware. Got to make a living, might as well LOVE what you do!

Losing a corporate job after 24 years gave me a window of opportunity to do what I really always loved, being creative in the arts. With a lifetime of ideas in my mind, I have been able to create wearable art that is unique, beautiful and at the same time feel good about socially contributing to recycling and repurposing material otherwise considered old, unusable or trash. Antique, broken, vintage silverware and jewelry gets new life to be admired, used and appreciated again. Devoting full time to my business has been challenging but very rewarding. I believe in the saying " If you love your job you never really work a day in your life". I am so very grateful for the support of my family and friends who have encouraged me and help promote my creations. Positive recognition of my creations has been both humbling and energizing to my creative process. I want to make things that "I" would love to have and wear and I believe that keeps my focus on beautiful design and quality work.....not just what will sell. In the process my husband has discovered a new talent to create custom whimsical figures that are a huge hit with our customers.

Our customers always have great ideas for us to bring to life and we look forward to providing joy again and again.

Welcome to Shecre8s where antique and vintage silverware gets new life as wearable, functional or whimsical art without the use of chemicals, heat or other additives. Our work is created the old fashioned way, cut and turned by hand and then buffed to its original beautiful finish. My husband, George and I work together full time to share the passion of up cycling otherwise unused and/or discarded silverware to new life.

Follow SheCre8s on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram for new work and a schedule of selling events.

The best part of what we do is meeting you, the customer, listening to your feedback and creating what people love. Tell us who you are , what you like and don't like ..... We really want to know. If an item is no longer available for sale that you like we'll create one for you ... Same price!

Shipping
In most cases we can turn around And ship in 2-3 business days. We are committed to a quick ship and will always have items shipped within a week. Custom orders may take longer. Thanks for you patience.
Refunds and Exchanges
Shecre8s will make every reasonable effort to give you want you want. If you are unhappy with your purchase we will refund your money with a return of the purchase at buyers expense.
Additional policies and FAQs
I am committed to providing a quality, unique work of art. Although most of the silverware used is fine silverplated and manufactured to be around forever, unfortunately my findings, clasps etc. are today's findings and as most things made today will eventually age. I will, however, always rework a bracelet with new findings at minimal cost to renew your piece.

Our show prices are extremely affordable and although we do wholesale there is still plenty of room for a profitable wholesale agreement. You may contact me at 215 806-1008 for a wholesale discussion.

Thanks for your interest and for your support of independent artists.

Frequently asked questions

Care instructions

Your repurposed silverware jewelry is very easy to maintain. Occasional use of a silver cloth such as a jewelry rouge cloth or a sunshine cloth for silver will bring your silverware back to the shine you had when you purchased it. If you prefer to let it patina naturally, you can just occasionally clean it with toothpaste and dry thoroughly if you need to remove everyday oils from lotions, sunscreens and sweat.

Custom and personalized orders

If you would like something made out of your own silverware you can contact me and leave a message at 215-806-1008. Aside from a $10 custom upcharge per order the price per item would run roughly the same as listed for that item in my shop.

There is no upcharge if you just need something from my pattern inventory sized or modified.
