Losing a corporate job after 24 years gave me a window of opportunity to do what I really always loved, being creative in the arts. With a lifetime of ideas in my mind, I have been able to create wearable art that is unique, beautiful and at the same time feel good about socially contributing to recycling and repurposing material otherwise considered old, unusable or trash. Antique, broken, vintage silverware and jewelry gets new life to be admired, used and appreciated again. Devoting full time to my business has been challenging but very rewarding. I believe in the saying " If you love your job you never really work a day in your life". I am so very grateful for the support of my family and friends who have encouraged me and help promote my creations. Positive recognition of my creations has been both humbling and energizing to my creative process. I want to make things that "I" would love to have and wear and I believe that keeps my focus on beautiful design and quality work.....not just what will sell. In the process my late husband, George discovered a new talent to create custom whimsical figures that were a huge hit with our customers. Unfortunately, I lost him in November, 2018 and only then realized what a "bigger than life" part he was to our business and our customers. I hope to be able to continue to bring you more creations to enjoy and honor his memory, lifelong support, sense of humor and loving partnership as long as I am able.
