Announcement   Hello! My name is Catherine. I’m from Repentigny, Quebec (Canada). When I was a little girl, as most of little girls, I loved to play with my dolls. Moreover, since my childhood, I’ve always been a very creative and artistic person. As an example, as a child, my grandmother, who was a seamstress, gave me fabric scraps which I made clothe for my dolls of that I then decorated with plastic beads. Later, in high school, I sew countless clothes with friends. At the time, we hadn’t any technique, but we had so much fun! Later, I studied and got my diploma in Art at CÉGEP du Vieux-Montréal. Through my art classes and inspiration researches for school and personal projects, I came across BJDs. At summer 2007, I’ve adopted my first MSD size BJD, Fei (an Angel of Dream). After Fei entered my life, my interest for sewing got a new kick start! Starting back my childhood activities, I’ve made tons and tons of clothes for Fei! One day, seeing that sewing had become a real passion for me, I return to school to learn customised couture and touch-ups at «L’École des Métiers des Faubourgs» of Montreal. Since I’ve got this diploma, my doll family as grown from 2 to 5 MSD girls. Lately, I’ve got more and more ideas for doll clothing and I’ve sewn a lot for my girls until I had the idea to share my talent with others, which I’m here for!

  • Money Order
  • Other Method
Payment
Payment: I’m in Quebec (Canada). The prices are in CANADIAN dollars and every payment, whatever payment method you use, MUST be done in CANADIAN dollars. Every payment must be done in CANADIAN dollars. I accept bank transfer, Paypal and Money orders as payment method. If you what to pick up you order ( see the shipping section for details), I accept cash.
Shipping
Shipping: I can Ship with many services as: Canada Posts, UPS, FedEx, etc., but I prefer Canada Posts which, in the case of international shipping, will be relayed to your local «snail mail» service. Shipping cost given in my listings don’t include tracking, insurance or express treatment. I SHIP INTERNATIONAL! If your country isn’t listed or if you want additional services (as express treatment, tracking or insurance), feel free to contact me with your situation. I’ll be happy to give you every option and their cost.
In the case of international shipment, I declare sales price as the value of the parcel. In the case of duty taxes or any other rights your country requires, you are the one responsible for them.
I try my best to send items the same or the next day I receive full payment for an order.
If you live in the greater Montreal area, I’ll be happy to take an appointment with you if you want to pick them up at my place. Please, ask for an appointment if that is your wish.
Refunds and Exchanges
Exchanges and Refunds: In case of major tailoring default or of parcel never getting to you, I’ll send you another identical garment if I can. If it’s not possible, I’ll give you the choice between choosing another garment, which value will be equal or less than the price originally paid and a full refund. If you don’t like a garment or it doesn’t fit your doll, I can take returns, after being contacted and after having discussed the matter with you. You will have to send me back the garment (at your expenses) in a state it could be sold including the original packaging (not the mailing envelope). I will refund you the price of the item you paid minus 15% restock fees. In the case you would prefer an exchange, follow the same steps that you would if you would want a refund, but I will send you any item you choose which price is equal or less than the one you paid originally. In that case, note that you will have to pay the shipping fees of the item you will be sent.
Additional policies and FAQs
Special requests: If you want me to alter an item (different color, different ornament, bigger because your MSD size BJD is bigger than usual (eg: Iplehouse JID), it will be my pleasure to make something special for your doll.
First, even before starting your special request, I ask for a 50% (before shipping) non-refundable deposit, because it will be difficult, if not impossible for me to sell to someone else some clothes I’d have made especially for your tastes or your doll’s measurements. Then, sew the garment and I’ll send you pictures. If you want adjustments, I’ll do them until you’re fully satisfied. When you’re satisfied with the results, I’ll post a special «custom order item» for you on Etsy at full price (which I’ll deduct the amount of the deposit before your payment). Then you pay and I send it to you.
Special requests are final sales. No exchange , No refund except if your parcel never gets to you. In that case, I’ll send you a replacement for the garment if I have enough materials. If I don’t, you’ll have the choice between: one or many other special request or regular clothes in my shop (in both case, their value could be equal or lesser than the price originally paid) or a full refund.
