About

Love of creating useful beautiful pottery

Since learning the pottery wheel I have been obsessed with perfecting my craft and discovering new glaze colors and combinations to express the painter that I truly am. Unlike painting on canvas, clay provides a medium that I don't get overly attached too. When a piece goes into my kiln so many things can go awry, I've learned not to get my hopes up too high. But when a piece comes out even better than I had hoped it's like magic. All of my dinnerware is made with food safe glazes. I paint each layer onto each piece by hand.

I am not a production potter but more of a fine artist potter. I love to design dinnerware that is both functional and unique. Each place setting is a work of art in itself, no two are exactly alike.

Etsy has been a wonderful venue for me to connect with buyers all over the USA. It is a great pleasure to know my work is being used all over our beautiful country.

Recently my 14 year old daughter has been working in the studio with me, we have listed a few of her pieces to share her work with the etsy community as well.
