Announcement   I have been obsessed with textiles and color ever since I started making and selling aprons door-to-door as a nine-year-old. I took my first weaving class as a textile major at Iowa State University and have been immersed in everything woven ever since. silk is my fiber of choice, both for weaving and for dyeing. The folk art and color found in Mexican, Central, and South American textiles is a constant inspiration. I never tire of playing with color and texture, often with a touch of whimsy. Welcome to my shop!

I wore this shawl to my daughter's wedding and felt wonderful in it. The fringe on it was fun and I got many compliments on it--both the color and the design. The shawl made my outfit complete and made a special day even more special.
