A little about myself..

I am a Sri Lankan artist living in Madison, WI. ( some of you might say..where is that ?? it's a little island right off the southern tip of India. I was born and raised in Sri Lanka. I moved to Madison, WI several years ago..and this is my home now.

I love to paint scenery from the dairy land. I like using the palette knife in a lot of my work including experimenting with abstract and impressionism..depending what I may be in the mood for !

This past year has been a profound year for me as an artist. Beginning of 2012..I tried to keep a promise to myself...that I would do more work in my studio. Unfortunately or fortunately that never happened..one thing lead to another and there I was travelling to Haiti to help start an arts program at St. Marc's Jeannette. I still cannot put words into my experience....but maybe one day I might be able to translate that experience onto a canvas.

I look forward to being a lot more active this year on etsy ! It's always inspiring to see a wide variety of talent and great work.

We are all blessed to do what we love to do. I hope 2015 will be a year of good work and friendship with my fellow etsians !
