Then, one day last month, it was accidentally destroyed by my housekeeper, who is a dear person who has been with me for a long time. I rebought this so that my daughter wouldn't be as disappointed as I was when it went away. My treasured gift if back and in a much safer place. Thank you so much!

5 out of 5 starsI bought this as a gift for my girlfriend and she loves it. The concept of the bleeding rose is astonishing, simple and beautiful. The one thing that I would suggest for improvement is for it to some with a chain, even a 12 or 14 inch simple silver chain.

Making the Unmakeable
Much of my art has been about finding ways to share it with more people. The mediums I work in have helped me create more art. The vendors I work with have helped make my work more affordable. Etsy helps me make it more accessible.
Although I do work with machines & vendors on certain pieces, all the design & art parts of it are done directly by me. There is no magic "make it" button in how these pieces are created. Because of how I make my art & the complexities of most of it, much of it cannot be made another way. If anything, the way I have to do things is often more complicated than you'd ever expect. I've been fortunate however that the technologies I've come to use allow me to explore my vision with intuition & liberty. I'll take the hard work part of it any day in exchange for that.
Outside of the help I get from my vendor network to create my work, my wife Carrie & I pretty much run the whole show by ourselves. I do the art but she's my partner on everything else.
I do what I do for many reasons but the adventure of pushing new technologies & themes into new places has become part of the journey. I hope you find something special in my work that resonates with you.
