About
Living is an art - make your life a masterpiece!
I was born and raised in Foshan, an old town in the south of China full of history and famous for an active aesthetic nature. My first oil paining I did at the age of 16. I have always been interested in portraying people, human relationships and interactions. More interested in the philosophical and emotional side of imagery, I use media to express my feeling rather than narrating it.
I am a graduate of the Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts 1987.（ BFA ） I am a recipient of numerous awards for artistic achievements in both painting and art instruction. I currently live in the Atlanta area since early 2003 with my husband and numerous pets. I teach art classes at Callanwolde Arts Center in Atlanta and at my studio located in Lilburn.
My artwork is based on my own philosophy on life as well as my life experiences. Also, my art is inspired by beauty in nature and crossing all boundaries, all cultures.
My friend and art collector Patty Hutton says, "Thank you for your beautiful images. This world of ours needs people like you who create inspiring art that lifts us up. Your paintings will bring me much joy for years and years to come."
