Note from shop owner Howdy folks! We are taking a little break from online retailing. We are in school learning new design skills and working on few other projects. We are still printing and won't be gone from our online shop forever! We may be open periodically, to be notified when our shop is open: go to shilohthreads.etsy.com, and click on "Email me when they're back" so you can be notified when our shop re-opens. Lastly, our Tacoma studio is available as an overnight getaway through Airbnb, to find it, search Airbnb for "Creative Artist Loft in❤️of Tacoma" or copy and paste this link: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/17511748?s=51 MUCH LOVE!!

Life is Short...Live creatively

In the Pacific Northwest, on the West side of Washington State, on Puget Sound, just on the outskirts of Gig Harbor, floating on a tiny island, nestled inside a log cabin, contemplating next to a wood stove, over a cup of coffee; an idea was born...live creatively. After that...the rest was easy. Shadows took shape, colors burned brighter, excitement grew...and plans, real plans were made.

In the beginning I dreamed about silk screening...
...the dreaming phase was very pleasant...
...then I tried silk screening and got very messy...
...and very frustrated...
...much cursing and gnashing of teeth...
...many more hours silk screening...
...getting a little better with each little bit of it...
...and much much better, with each large volume of it...
...and then...after many passes of the squeegee...
...silk screening started to become awesome...
...and now...
...I live creatively Every. Single. Day.

Shiloh lives creatively with...
*shirts
*sweatshirts
*patches
*bags
*pillow cases
*wood
*coffee
*random pieces of paper
*friends
*family
*beer
*pets
*love
*chocolate

I print on ethically made/acquired materials...because it's not very much fun living creatively if it's at someone else's expense now is it?

Thanks for stopping by...and remember, life is short...live creatively
