I have seen Shelpzig's (Sam's) artwork in different areas online (google, Pinterest, Instagram) but I have never purchased any comics or collections. I am so glad I did! Red is a phenomenal story with fantastic artwork! I love how the art is rough like a sketch but clearly flows and drives the story. The collection book could honestly be broken into individual mini-comics/one-page comics for how awesome they are.
