Shoeless Jane is a "please help me clear out my house so I can move" wealth-distribution tool. At the moment, I'm primarily destashing supplies, though I have a few design prototypes (from my flat pattern and draping classes) and some vintage clothing that is no longer my style.

I am motivated to sell. If a price seems a little high, drop me a line, I might be able to negotiate. Also, if you would like to be informed if/when one of your favorite listings has changed--either gone down in price, or has had other things added to it, please send me a convo. I will not spam, but if you would like to be informed about such changes, I would be happy to do so.

Most of my sewing destash is in good used condition: I will make every attempt to describe stains and damage as I see them, but some wear is to be expected.

Accepted payment methods

Returns and exchanges
Refunds are given only when the item is not as described.

If the item is inadvertently misrepresented, I will refund both the item and shipping.

If you merely decide you don't like it, or it wasn't quite what you thought it would be, I'm sorry, I cannot refund for that.
I currently only accept paypal, but may accept other forms of payment by special arrangement.
Shipping is USPS, first class, for smaller items, flat rate boxes for larger items. I price my shipping to cover the cost of materials (usually a padded envelope); if your item is small and flat (as would fit in a standard or card envelope) and you are willing to take the risk of damage during shipping, I can reduce the price and ship that way.

Also, "everywhere else" shipping rates are assigned more or less assuming I'm shipping to Australia. If you have reason to believe international shipping should be less expensive (ie: you live in Canada), I will be happy to figure shipping for you personally.

Similarly, if actual shipping turns out to be significantly less than estimated shipping costs, a refund will be issued.
Additional policies and FAQs
Please note: While mine is a smoke-free home, we do have cats. The cats are not generally allowed in my sewing areas, but they also don't generally care what rules I may set. Those with allergies: be forewarned.

I'm working hard to figure out the best compromise between pricing and shipping. I'd like to keep lots of items small enough that nobody ever has to buy ten things for the one thing they actually want, but splitting up lots frequently means that shipping is more than the cost of the item.

I'm trying to find a compromise. If you have an idea, I'm open to suggestions. As I said before, I'm motivated to sell.
