It more than met expectations, but you have to use one size more than you use.

The instructions are very easy to follow even for a beginner! If you want to make your own cute shoes, I highly recommend. Remember to carefully mark your fabric for the right shoe and the left shoe or you’ll have a strange looking shoe xD

Great instructions! I’m very new at sewing so I was afraid my shoes would look terrible… but my practice shoe turned out quite nice! I think that after only 2 - 3 pairs even a beginner sewer can have some beautiful and professional looking shoes with this pattern. There’s also a YouTube video from shoeology that explains how to make them. As a beginner, it’s very useful to watch it as you read the instructions. Super happy with my product and I highly recommend!

Easy peasy download. Haven't made a pair yet but the directions seem clear and extensive.

I'm blown away by how simple it was to follow the instructions and end up with a wearable, good-looking pair of flats on the first try! Can't wait to do more experimenting with colors and materials!

Haven't used the pattern yet but great customer service answering my questions. Update: I made my first pair of these-ish sandals today. This is the "Frankenstein" model because I took the straps directly from another pair of shoes whose soles were worn out. Without this pattern I wouldn't have known how to layer the soles, not to mention a lot of other good information. They are far from perfect. I think the leather I used for the topsole was too thin and when it came to sanding the edges the edge of the topsole just got chewed up instead of smoothed. In the end, no one will notice but me. Since I wear shoes of similar style about 360 days a year it will behoove me to perfect these. I do a lot of tie dye. I think I'll do the next pair with straps of left over tie dyed fabric. Great pattern. Thanks so much.
