How did I get here?
13 years later and I look back thinking...how did I get here? Oddly enough it started with a chair. Yep, I traded a recliner chair for a gigantic ceramic kiln. As I mentioned this huge exciting trade to my friend, she mentioned a place we could learn to fuse glass to put the giant kiln to use. Another friend watched my little boys (at the time 4 yr triplets) while I took the class. I loved it as soon as I cut the first piece of glass, lifting the lid to the kiln to gaze upon what the heat did to it was a gift to behold, I never tire of that moment. It didn't take long to learn the gigantic kiln in my garage was not what I wanted and in fact used more power than I possessed in my home. SO I bought a small kiln and had some buyers remorse because I was making things but had no idea what to do with what I was making. I found Ebay started listing my little mini works every week and making just enough money to feed my glass addiction and self esteem. 1 kiln, 2 kilns, 3 kilns, 4 kilns later and tons of glass experimenting, here I am. I am never bored with it. Glass has been my friend, my zen and my teacher. I have learned more about who I am through creativity than I could ever imagine. Thank you recliner chair, huge ceramic kiln that is still in my garage, my family, my 2 very good friends that made it possible and all my new friends here, you make it worth waking up to every day. Love you I really do.

I have been fusing for almost 13 years. I have a messy studio that I love, with 4 kilns, a cat or two and a never ending supply of children to feed since I am a mom of teen triplets. I love glass, beads and creating.
