Patti was very helpful during this transaction. We discussed the product over several messages and then met for deliver as we live in the same area. It was a delight to hear her talk about her artwork and see photos of her other designs.

Archetype created this special order heirloom tray for me using antique lace hand crocheted by my grandmother. This heirloom one of a kind piece is beautifully crafted, the color/glaze is just what I wanted. Archetype even added sweet rolled handles. I could not be happier to have such a stunning piece. Thank you Archetype!

I could not have asked for a nicer gift for a friend's baby shower. Archetype really went above and beyond on matching the colors to her nursery theme, arranging the cake with items from her registry and it was shipped in plenty of time! Thank you so much Archetype!

About

My Hobby...turned into a passion...turned into a shop!

I have always been someone who filled her schedule with as many extra curricular activities as possible. When I moved to Raleigh, that was the one area of my life that was empty...until pottery found me! I began my journey at the studio of David and Suzanne Gould, who own Good Earth Pottery and Garden located in Chapel Hill, NC. Everything I've learned, I've learned through their teachings, and the creativity gathered from the many other artists who frequent their studio. Currently, I am taking classes in the ceramics studio at NCSU which allows me the opportunity to use their beautiful glazes and their kilns. This experience has challenged me to try new methods and techniques some of which I can hardly wait to share with Etsy shoppers!
I purchased my own wheel in 2013, and began my Etsy store! Now all I need to do is continue to fill it up with new ideas...

Additional policies and FAQs
Please know that I will try to make the ceramic pieces as quickly as possible, but if there is one thing I've learned about clay...slow drying is the best way to go! If you have a deadline, I'll do my best! Just let me know ahead of time, and I'll let you know if it can be done!
