Beyond extraordinary service. I almost started to cry opening my package just because of how special I felt. Hand written note, and added gifts 😭😭😭 I love this shop owner so much. The kindess I felt from opening my package overwhelmed me. I am sharing your shop. Thank you so much❤️

My gorgeous red rose ribbon arrived today with a few gifts! The owner felt bad because it took a couple of extra days to ship my package out. Not only am I delighted with my ribbon, but I am impressed with SHOPATLUXE's customer service and respect. I would definitely recommend ordering from them! Wonderful products & a class act!

The Story Of ShopAtLuxe...

A year ago (August, 2012,) I was facing multiple organ failures and a painful life with the fatal disease known as Lupus, both Systemic and Discoid types. My secret life included coping with the pain in bed. My strange bedfellows? Early onset Dementia. Restrictive Lung Disease. Pulmonary Hypertension and Asthma. Auto-Immune Hepatitis and a damaged liver. Fibromyalgia. Thyroid Disease. Diabetes. I mourned the loss of being unable to complete my Ph.D. in Human Ecology at Michigan State University; and I felt no real purpose in this ravaged state of being.

But one day I discovered Etsy.com. I thought to myself, I had some charms at home, and a few raw materials... I could purchase some crystals and beads here and there. I could even grab some unused screws, nuts and bolts with wire and cords, and make something really fantastic! I could really make a go of it, I believed. And slowly, quietly, I began to be able to create eco-friendly jewelry and accessories at an affordable cost.

It's been such a great experience to create jewelry and provide craft supplies for you, my treasured customers. And the benefit I enjoy is the knowledge that each time I send a carefully wrapped package out to you, (via my wonderful USPS Carrier, Ryan D.!!) I imagine the smile and happy feeling that I've given you.

Serving you, Etsy's buyers, has actually given me a purpose: making people smile with delight when they open my packages is all the inspiration I need to work through the physical and emotional pain from having a disease with no cure. Etsy has been that soothing medication that I needed, (along with 42 other prescriptions from my specialists!)

At ShopAtLuxe, all jewelry is made by me, the store owner, in the State of Michigan, USA, giving American jobs. Please support American Businesses, and the United States Post Office. Let me make a piece for you. All items are handcrafted to order.

As a company striving to remain environmentally responsible, I'd like my customers to know that I strive to use many unused raw materials and metals, rocks and glass, by recreating them into repurposed creations...saving the earth's natural resources.

Thank you for your kind order! Due to the increased volume of daily orders, your item should be shipped out within 5-7 business days at the very most, once it has been constructed per your specifications. All items are custom made upon request, (with the exception of craft supplies and such), which is why items do not ship immediately after processing. We appreciate your understanding very much!

SHOPATLUXE accepts direct payment through credit cards using your Shop Payment Account; or you may choose Paypal, the safest way to shop online! If you are not a Paypal member, but would prefer to pay through Paypal, you may choose to pay through Paypal as a "Guest." Paypal also offers the "Bill Me Later" option as well.
Shipping
Our shipping default rate is USPS First Class Mail. For items shipped within the USA, First Class mail has an estimated delivery of 5-7 business days, DUE TO THE INCREASED VOLUME OF SALES. However, if your item's weight is above 13 ounces, we will ship it via USPS Priority Mail, which takes 5-7 business days for delivery, guaranteed by USPS. We also offer a Priority Mail upgrade for USA, Canada and Worldwide (International) customers to purchase.

Due to hygiene issues, ShopAtLuxe policy indicates that no returns will be issued. If you receive an item damaged during shipping, please contact us to see if a repair is possible. The USPS offers Shipping Insurance, which must be purchased prior to your item being shipped. For the best way to ensure a damage free shipment, please contact us via email before you place your order. We will be able to add USPS Insurance to your invoice. USPS will then be liable for any damage that is incurred during the shipping process. For receipt of an incorrect item, (wrong size, different item than the title and detail of your invoiced order, an order meant for someone else- with another buyer's name on invoice received,) please contact us and we will make arrangements via email to ensure your satisfaction. All Items are designed by Jo with a great deal of detail and care; please wear them very carefully as they are all DELICATE. ShopAtLuxe does not accept refunds or returns for the BROKEN items.

Please ask me about the Measurements and of the item that you're interested- especially if you should see no measurements mentioned in the listing. If you purchase an item without noting the size written in the listing, exchanges and refunds will not be accepted because of this matter. If you believe that an item is a certain size based upon the images, it is possible that the item may not be the exact size you need. If you have any doubt about the size, feel free to create a custom request, and we will be happy to respond as time allows. We appreciate your business.

If your shipment is not picked up from the USPS due to moving without a forwarding address, an incorrect address on file with Etsy, or your country's postal office OR it is returned to us, (in the case of PO Boxes or the post office leaves a note at your residence), we cannot refund your payment. You will need to purchase the shipping fee equivalent to the rate for your address, whether national or international (outside of the USA), in order to have your item re-shipped.
Refunds and Exchanges
SHOPATLUXE does not accept returns, due to hygiene issues. However, if an item is broken during shipment, please return it and it will be replaced with an undamaged item. We cannot refund your payment in this case. If you have concerns about your items being damaged during shipment, it is best to purchase insurance from the USPS prior to your item being shipped.

Additional policies and FAQs
As of June, 2013, SHOPATLUXE will no longer ship orders on weekends (Saturdays and Sundays.) We will ship on Mondays through Fridays, which are referred to as "business days." Please note that due to the increased volume of sales, it will take 5 business days AT MOST for your order to be shipped. All items are handcrafted, with the exceptions of supplies, and therefore each item takes a day or two to be crafted to your specifications. Your kind understanding is very much appreciated, and please know that your happiness is of the utmost importance. If you have questions regarding items of interest or general questions, please expect a brief delay for a response to your email.

Please be sure to email ShopAtLuxe through Etsy email - this is for the purpose of confirming all communication. If you should have an issue with ShopAtLuxe, please kindly email us, giving us at least 2 days EST to respond.

Why is there a 2 days EST waiting period? Please understand that there are times when we are working on the shipment of orders each day (except Saturdays and Sundays,) which takes several hours each day. Secondly, ShopAtLuxe operates within the Eastern Standard Time Zone, which can be as much as 12 hours difference between our time zone and yours.
