Wow, what a day we've had. My bestie from London Town only went and showed up on my doorstep by surprise this afternoon. Cue major catch ups over coffee, cake and the obligatory babyccino!
Yesterday I felt soooo poorly. No idea why but the great news is that I woke up feeling miles better. I might still be donning a top knot and having a double shot (of coffee) but still, fresh starts and all that.
Whether Hindu or not I think Diwali is a festival we can all get on board with, celebrating the victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance.
Wishing each and every one of you a Happy Diwali.

About

I'm just One Mama in One Shed.

I try to create a truly unique range of hand crafted, 'up cycled' vintage pieces. A strong passion for beautiful vintage cutlery alongside a love of quirky, decorative use combines to create the unique ranges within the One Mama One Shed shop. Each piece is entirely original and no two designs are alike......

All items are carefully and lovingly handmade in Britain using materials sourced within the UK. I'm a firm believer in supporting Great British talent and think that more people should shop small, local and British. Every time you buy from a small business you are supporting a real person, a real family, a real passion and I hope that is reflected in my work.

Every order placed supports my family and I and for that I will be forever grateful, without my loyal customers and followers my business wouldn't grow.

Much Love,

Siobhan

Shipping
My vintage treasures usually come presented in a sealed paper bag and then packaged in a jiffy bag to ensure safety during travel.

If your order is a gift going directly to the recipient, I can include a personal message card from you for no extra charge. If you would like this service please let me know what you would like me to write (to fit on a business card), in the note to seller area.

If based in the UK, we post using Royal Mail First Class or MyHermes.

***Please note*** Packages can be held up along the way occasionally which may mean that your item takes a little longer to reach you, particularly during busy periods such as the festive season. Mail is not considered lost until 25 business days have passed. Please be patient if your item hasn't arrived within the 'estimated' time.

International items UNDER £25- will be sent using Royal Mails Standard Airmail service to keep shipping costs as low as possible for customers. Delivery time will usually be 5-7 working days. International items OVER £25- will be sent using Royal Mails tracked Airsure Service. Delivery time will usually be 5-7 working days.

***Please note*** International shipping times are based on the information provided by Royal Mail, they are estimated and parcels may take longer. Pop Up Vintage can take no responsibility for parcels that take longer as this is out of our control. When shipping overseas, please be aware that customs can delay packages by up to 6 weeks. It does not happen often but it can happen. You will be liable for any customs fees, taxes, tariffs, duties, etc. that may be incurred at the time of delivery in accordance with your country's tax/import regulations. Returns will not be accepted due to you having to pay customs fees. Any dispute over delivery should be raised with Royal Mail.

If you would prefer to have your items tracked or to receive fast shipping there will be an additional charge (to be arranged on purchase).

I will always ship to the address given during Etsy checkout so please make sure you provide your current address.

V I N T A G E

All our items are true vintage so may have some small imperfections this is what makes them so special. Cutlery style in the photos is for example only and may not be available to order, some may be more simple/more ornate than those photographed.

H A N D S T A M P I N G

We hand stamp each letter on to this vintage cutlery one letter at a time, consequently the letters may not always be perfectly aligned but this adds to the charm and individuality.

A P P E A R A N C E

Each piece is polished to it's best before stamping and ready to use when it gets to you. Please note that the silver plating may oxidise over time so your items will need a little care, if they begin to tarnish then a rub down with a dry soft polishing cloth or some fine steel wool will make them all shiny again. Please do NOT wash your items in a dishwasher, a gentle rinse under warm water is best.

The darkened colour of the letters may fade over time depending on use and cleaning method. The stamping impression will never fade.
