Shipping
************************************************
Orders are usually shipped the same day or next day via USPS, FedEx or UPS. Shipments within the United States are usually sent via USPS 1st Class Mail (2-5 days) or Priority Mail (2-3 business days) with delivery confirmation. Insurance is available for an additional fee. Please email me if you would like to insure your package and I will send you a PayPal invoice for the additional cost, or the shipping costs can be modified prior to purchase. If you choose not to insure your package, I cannot be responsible for loss or damage.
**PLEASE NOTE** For heavier shipments in the United States, it is often more cost-effective to ship via UPS or FedEx, which includes limited insurance (up to $100, with a minimal charge for additional coverage). Please contact me if you'd like a shipping quote for UPS/FedEx.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
*************************************************
Please contact me if you'd like a more detailed shipping quote... the International Rate given is quite broad and can vary greatly.
Orders are shipped within 1 day of purchase. International shipping prices vary and are quoted for USPS First Class Intl, unless stated otherwise (please email me for specifics). Packages should arrive in 1-2 weeks (varies by location). USPS 1st Class Intl is the most economical method of shipping but does not have tracking or insurance. This means that once I ship your package I have no further information about its whereabouts. I have my receipt as proof of mailing and will not be responsible for late or missing packages. If you would like tracking/insurance, I would recommend that you upgrade to Priority Mail. If you want to upgrade to Priority Mail please message me for the rate to your country and I can adjust the shipping costs prior to purchase or I can send a PayPal invoice for the additional shipping cost.
Also, please note, USPS requires a phone number if shipping to an International PO Box. Please include a phone number if your package will be shipped to a PO Box.
Additional policies and FAQs
BUYING VINTAGE | All items available in this vintage collection are at least 20 years of age and most have prior ownership, so they may not be 100% free of minor defects. Any noticeable flaws are included in item descriptions and photographs for buyer discretion. Items are stored in a climate-controlled, smoke-free building.
SIZING | Great care and time are taken to measure and prepare every piece. Please rely on the measurements of each item to ensure proper fit. (Please see the "additional information" and "measurements" section below.)
RESERVING ITEMS | Items can be reserved for 24 hours deposit free. You can reserve an item for up to 15 days with a 15%, nonrefundable deposit.
LAYAWAY | Layaway is available on items/orders with a value of $300 or more. Deposits are nonrefundable and the order must be paid in full within 30 days.
SIZING
Please be aware that sizing on vintage clothing & shoes, is usually dated and typically runs smaller than modern-day sizing. All items are measured with the item laying flat, and it would be most beneficial for you to measure your own personal garment this way, and compare. If you are questioning the measurements of an item, please convo/email me so that I may give you more information.
CONDITION
All items listed are 20+ years in age, and therefore all have normal vintage wear. If there is anything noticeable on an item, I will include it in the description and in the pictures. All items are to be sold "as is". If you are questioning wear on any item, please convo/email me so that I can give you more information.
COLOR
Please note, all computer monitors have different settings, so the color of an item may slightly vary from the image and the actual product.
MEASUREMENTS
All measurements are approximate and taken while the garment is lying flat, then doubled (with the exception of length, shoulders, rise, inseam). Here's the skinny on how I take them...
Length: typically taken in the back center of the garment, from the neck seam down to the hem. If there is no neck seam, I will approximate it and measure to the hem. (In regards to pants or shorts, the length is taken on the *side* from the top of the waistband, down to the bottom hem.)
Bust/Chest: usually measured within 2 inches of the armpits of the garment, then doubled.
Waist: measured at the natural waistline (usually the narrowest part of the garment), and doubled. In regards to pants or shorts, the measurement is taken at the waistband directly.
Hips: measured about 7 to 9 inches or so from natural waist, and doubled. (for women)
Sleeve Length: from the shoulder seam top, down to the bottom of the cuff.
Shoulders: measured in back, at approximate shoulder blades, from seam to seam, typically at the narrowest point.
Rise: measured in front from the waistband down to the crotch seam.
Inseam: measured from the crotch seam down to the bottom of the cuff/hem.
**If you have any questions or need additional measurements, please let me know.**
