Beautiful hat pin that is lacey and unusual. This is a fabulous addition to my collection. Thank you.

WOW! I really love this beret! I have a collection of hats (mostly berets) that I wear quite often, and this is by far one of the nicest! Very fast shipping! Thank you!

About

As a tiny girl I wandered into the attic one day and found a box of vintage dresses.

I started young. Barbie's first, then dressing myself. My mom and grandmother never threw anything of great quality away. They were mad shoppers, when there was a sale they would buy two of everything.

I started my collection at 12 years old. I studied each garment to understand its seams, its pleats its darts. I tried to mend things on my own to understand on a deeper level vintage construction at its best.

I played the piano. I went to music school. I sang in a punk band, kind of. I studied jazz piano and still couldn't play. But people liked the way I dressed. They knew me by my image, fashionably speaking.

I moved to San Francisco. I moved home. I got a cat and named her juju. I got my degree in Fashion Merchandising and became a vintage hoarder. I thought I was going to move to LA and become a stylist. I fell madly in love with my cat. I became obsessed with collecting vintage and retro goodies.

I got a boyfriend and we moved in together. He said, "You have too much stuff. You are talented. You need to open a shop."

So I did...

Collecting vintage since I was a kid - I leave no stone unturned, estate sales, garage sales, the middle of the street, thrift shops, mom's closet. I love a good find and it's in my blood to keep hunting.

The shop's name is inspired by my little girl cat juju whom I promised I would always give a good life. She is very instrumental in the business!
