5 out of 5 starsBeautiful quality of printing, it seems it's a real painting ! Nadja has sent it very quickly and has made a beautiful package, very safe and lovely. Thanks. A little disappointed by the etsy service by the way, I had to pay customs duties (18 €) to the delivery man. It has nothing to do with Nadja, of course, but I would have liked to know it before I bought it.

It all began with Bob Ross!
Hello and welcome to Shop Nadia J Art on Etsy! :) My name is Nadia Janjua, and I am a Visual Artist & Art Educator residing in the Washington, D.C. area. In late 2011, I decided to take a hiatus from practicing architecture to pursue my dreams for making, living, breathing and sharing my art on a full-time, non-stop, guilt free basis! I have truly been blessed to be living my dreams as a full-time artist ever since.
To tell you a little bit more about myself, I was born and raised out in the tranquil, quiet mountains of Western Maryland with my other three siblings. My parents are originally from Pakistan & Kashmir, and throughout my life, I have enjoyed a generous bit of traveling to other parts of the world which has brought me a deep appreciation for culture, religion, history, humanity and of course, art!
I have always loved drawing since the tender age of three, but one fortuitous evening when I was 16 years old, I came across the “Bob Ross” show on PBS — after that, my life was forever changed! Picking up a paint brush, I felt connected to my voice in a way I had never experienced. As a quiet person, I had always had an active inner life, but now I had discovered a way to express and articulate my life’s experiences through colors. What I discovered, and continue to discover through my creative process, is that colors truly challenge language to encompass them — in other words, there are more sensations we feel from color, than words to describe them. I truly believe that within every color, lays a story and an experience waiting to be unraveled.
This, precisely, is what my art work is all about. I am deeply inspired by my spiritual and emotional connection to my faith, and it is the search for insight and understanding that has led to an infinite source of inspiration for my creative works. As you can tell, I deeply love color; I love texture; I love materiality; I love up-cycling found objects, and I love writing. All of that love gets poured into each and every one of my works.

We hope you never receive a damaged product, but in the case that you do, please take a photo and send to nadiaj [!at] nadiajart.com. Your product will be replaced as soon as possible.
In the event that you have not received the correct item or the correct amount of item(s) you ordered, please contact nadiaj [!at] nadiajart.com within 10 days of receipt and your order will be corrected. Any necessary refund will be completed via Paypal and will be processed within (3) business days of refund inquiry.
In the case of jewelry, SHOP Nadia J Art offers a warranty of 60 days for free repairs.
Please note if wrong address is provided for your order and is only corrected *after* SHOP Nadia J Art has shipped it out, no refunds will be offered. You are required to input the correct shipping address at time of order, or email me within 24 hours of the order to make any corrections. That being said, your happiness is very important and I work with all of my customers to come to a resolution; simply send me a conversation to discuss.

LOCAL ORDERS:
Currently, SHOP Nadia J Art is located in Laurel, MD and can accommodate local pick-ups if desired. (Please note drop-off's are not available). Contact nadiaj [!at] nadiajart.com BEFORE making order so that shipping costs can be removed, and to schedule a pick up date.
RUSH ORDER:
Please indicate when checking out if you require expedited service and an updated shipping cost and Paypal link will be provided for additional cost.
INTERNATIONAL ORDER:
SHOP Nadia J Art is happy and grateful to receive orders from abroad! If your country is not listed, please don't hesitate to contact nadiaj [!at] nadiajart.com as we ship all over the world. Please make note that with the exception of original paintings, all items shipped internationally will not come with a tracking number, and all packages are subject to Customs checking which may elongate the delivery time.
