I couldn't have been happier with my experience! I ordered my ring and it arrived nicely packaged and beautiful. I discovered upon trying it on, I had ordered a size too small. I felt terrible! Knowing it was handmade, I asked her what could we do? She charged me only shipping and took her time to resize the ring appropriately. I just received it and it's a perfect fit! I am so grateful for the time and effort she put in. Recommend highly!

Handmade sterling silver jewellery with natural gemstones
Hi! My name is Shauna, and I am an autistic Melbourne jeweller with a passion for lapidary and working with natural stones. Sucre Noir is the brand under which I sell my handmade creations.
Most of my pieces feature raw gems or cabochons (hand-cut and polished at the local lapidary club) that I've set into a complementary vessel. My preference of metal is sterling silver or copper, but I can custom make pieces in your choice of material.
When you purchase a piece of jewellery from Sucre Noir, you are directly supporting an independent small business owner. I take pride in the quality and originality of my work; every piece is one of a kind and I hope you enjoy it as much as I love creating it.

Do I have to have a PayPal account to pay?
No, you can pay with your credit card without a PayPal account.
Yes, we do. We currently work and post out of Australia, so all postage charges are reflected accordingly. Australia Post has each country set up at a different rate, and it is almost impossible to list it all. If your country is not listed and you would like to make a purchase, please feel free to send us a conversation and we will set it up for you.

Is my packaged tracked/insured?
As of April 2016, all our postage pricing has been changed so that the minimum rate has a tracking number to it. You can add signature on delivery, insurance, or upgrade to express post (within Australia) or add signature on delivery at checkout for additional cost. If you are based internationally and would like to add insurance to your package, please contact me and I will give you a quote (should be around 5 dollars).
- - -
How often do you post orders?
We post orders every 2-3 days depending on the workload. Please check your item's processing times to know when your order will ship by.
- - -
Why does postage cost so much?
All our postage prices come under Aus Post's 'Standard' rate. This includes tracking and ranges from $8.25 to up to $30. Because of Etsy's policies, any item without a tracking number that is lost in the postage abyss becomes the seller's responsibility. Unfortunately, our postage rates now reflect this as we are unable to absorb this loss.

How long will my package take to arrive?
All items have a processing time on their respective listing. Processing time + postage delivery time = Time it will take for your package to arrive.
Once your order is posted, all orders within Australia via regular post should take 2-6 business days (1-4 business days if you pay for priority upgrade), and all international orders should take 7-10 business days. We find international orders generally arrive within 2 weeks.
You can check for country-specific postage times and information here --> http://auspost.com.au/

Refunds and Exchanges
Should you be unhappy with your order, we are happy to accept returns for flawed or faulty merchandise (issues that arise from our faults) if contacted within 30 days of your order being posted. Most items take 2 weeks to arrive. Faulty items can either be be replaced or fully refunded.
We do not accept returns or give refunds for purchases whereby a change of mind has occurred, or for lost packages where insurance has not been purchased.
PLEASE contact us before deciding to leave a review or open a case if you're unhappy with your product. We take pride in our work and we don't like customers walking away unhappy.
