This print came and it was absolutely perfect. I couldn't have asked for a better finishing print for our nursery. Matt is an amazing seller and did a great job staying in contact.

About

Matt creates short adventures in words and pictures

Matt was born in Sydney, Australia, sandwiched between the bush and beach. The inspiration for his short stories stems from his love of his unique country and its cultural diversity.

His early fascination for the combination of words and pictures saw him complete a Bachelor of Design at the University of Sydney in 2003. He is currently working full-time as a Creative Director in Melbourne, Australia.

Simplicity, humour and the art of the unseen are strong themes in Matt’s illustration work. The interplay of words and pictures helps him tell a more complete story in his unique way. Paired with his strong understanding of the commercial aspects of the business from a career in design, he is a uniquely creative and pragmatic artist. He prefers to work collabortively and iteratively to achieve the best result for the audience.

In 2014, Matt was approached by several Australian publishers to illustrate children’s books. In 2016 he'll be releasing his first 2 picture books with 2 more scheduled for 2017.

So, you like to get in to the detail huh? I like you already.

I started this shop to help support the conservation of Australian Wildlife by sharing my work with people who enjoy it. All profits from this store go to that cause.

All my packaging is as environmentally-friendly as it can be. I've gone to great lengths to find biodegradable and recycled packaging for everything I send.

My work is professionally printed with archival inks on some of the finest papers available. I wouldn't sell stuff I wouldn't be willing to buy personally. If you're not satisfied with that then you're really hard to please but I still like you.

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy Gift Cards and Etsy Credits
Returns and exchanges
Here's how I put the 'fun' in refund:

If you're disappointed with your item when you receive it, just return it to me in the same packaging and I'll send your money back asap unless you'd rather an exchange or some other alternative. I only started this shop to put a smile on the faces of people who own my art. It's not the end of the world if something bad happens, it's just a print, so either way, let's still be friends.

If you want to exchange it, exchanges can be made within 7 days of payment. Again, the easiest thing to do is just message me and we can arrange it together.

If an item is taking longer in the mail than you think it should or you think it might be lost, contact me and I'll do everything to find it including my standard Pterydactyl flyover.
Payment
Electronic payment is the most secure way of getting your money to me so this is why I don't accept mailed personal cheques (even though all the really old people in my life say that I should).

Payment is due within 24 hours of checkout but if for whatever reason you need an extension, I'm more than happy to hold the item if you send me a really nice email or write me a funny story.
Shipping
Here's the deal with my free shipping worldwide: I send all prints via regular post (air mail if it's an international order) unless you specifically want me to do otherwise. If you need it quickly or would like a registered post option, just message me and I can let you know the additional charges based on where you need it sent to.

All prints are shipped in a biodegradable cellophane pocket with a stiff cardboard backing to reduce bending and increase protection against rough handling. This is then placed inside a 90% recycled rigid mailer, I pretty up the envelope and send it on its way via regular post.

The cello bag provides some protection against wet weather but if it's going overseas I would be more than happy for you to pay a little bit extra and I can put it in a weatherproof mailing bag, just to be sure.
Additional policies and FAQs
If you haven't found the answer you're looking for in the above policies, email me your question and I'll get back to you asap.
