After ordering this item almost 2 months ago I've just had a slip through the door from post office charging me £12.11 for customs and their charges. I paid a lot for this in my opinion, still have t even seen it and I'll have paid £30. Shocking service

Why SYS?

Here's a little info on what I'm doing and why.........

First off.........I had a specific tank top that I got compliments on every time I wore it. It was a basic black tank that had cuts going down the back . I wore different color camisoles under it to make it fun, to change things up, and so I could wear it with anything. I wore it as every day wear and I wore it to work out in. I would get asked where I got it all of the time. So in 2011 I decided to start making and selling tanks like that one and made up designs of my own as well.

Second (here's the part that's a little more difficult for me to talk about) I've always had body image issues and after having 2 girls of my own I've tried really hard not to do things to let them see that or think for one second that they shouldn't be happy with themselves. It's important to me that they grow up knowing they are beautiful inside and out.
One day I saw my 3 year old daughter standing in front of the mirror with this disgusted look on her face. She was grabbing her perfect little tummy and looking at my 2 year old daughter and saying "Look how gross" I was so upset and disappointed in myself. I KNEW she was copying me. I spend so much time making sure they eat healthy (most of the time) and telling them how special they are because they are nice and smart and funny and pretty and athletic and polite and in that second it hit me that my actions speak louder than words. I was no better than the stupid media. I needed to change my way of thinking for them and for me. I needed to get my priorities straight and decided to concentrate on what REALLY matters. How many little moments with my girls had I missed out on because I was caught up in my image of myself?!?!? I decided to stop letting my real life pass me by while I obsessed about trying to become an impossible version of myself. Instead I need to truly live life and just strive to be the best version of myself. I think you get the idea.....

WHY are so many of us so critical of ourselves?!?!? We are amazing mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, co-workers, grandmothers, granddaughters, wives.......
Let's stop the cycle!!! Let's promote love, not self loathing!! GIRL POWER!!!

I LOVE that Dove has their "Love Your Body" campaign and wish more companies and people in the media were doing something like that.

Sooooo I decided to combine the two. If I know how to make shirts that catch peoples attention, why not put some positive and fun messages on them?

I've cut/sliced/shredded/added lace up grommets to tank tops and then I've done a vintage looking silk screen saying on them. All of the sayings are uplifting/funny/girl power/love yourself type of sayings. Every tank is made to order and I myself cut each one of them by hand. It makes it so that no 2 tanks turn out the same and make them as special and as individual as the person wearing them. I'm hoping to get the word out that you should love who you are. I want it to be like a cool club to be a part of.

I will be donating a portion of each sale to the Dove "Love your body" campaign AND the O.U.R. rescue group as well. O.U.R. stands for Operation Underground Railroad. They are a non-profit group that rescue kidnapped children from slavery. Please check them out and donate if you can. Let's break the chain!

You've probably noticed the different names for my sizes. I did this because I feel WE GIVE TOO MUCH POWER TO THE SIZE OF OUR CLOTHING. The words extra small, small, medium, large and extra large can and often do have an underlying negativity to them.

Unfortunately this is something that we probably can't escape. So, I've decided that if we ARE going to have to let sizes and labels have some sort of power over us, we need to have it be a positive and motivating power.

Around here you're not extra small/'re XSTRAORDINARY!
Small/weak? are STRONG!
You're not medium/ are MAJESTIC!
Large? How about LUMINOUS!!!
You're not extra're XLARATING!!

"Self confidence is the best outfit, for nothing makes a woman more beautiful than the belief that she is."

I truly hope that every time you see the label of your SYS items they give you a sense of empowerment.
I hope you feel uniquely beautiful and extra confident when wearing my clothing.
Rock it! Own it! Be your best self and live!!

SYS shirts run pretty true to "size".
They are a cotton/poly/spandex blend, so they have a nice feel and stretch to them.

Length from the high point of the shoulder to the bottom of the hem are as follows:
XStraordinary: 26"
Strong: 26 3/8"
Majestic: 27"
Luminous: 27 5/8"
XLarating: 28 1/4"

Bust line @ 1" below the armpit are as follows:
