5 out of 5 starsI’m completely blown away by Sian’s creativity and talent. Her work is mesmerizing and her style is one of a kind. I find myself finding new, charming details every time I stop to stare at the handsome mountain goat I purchased as a gift for my husband. He brings us both so much joy hanging on our focal wall. I’ve yet to have someone pass by and not make a comment on how beautiful he is - I can’t help but agree! I know it’s going to be one of those special pieces that our children and grandchildren remember hanging in our home for many happy years. Sian was very helpful and kept me up to date with every step in the process. Even when the glass frame was broken in shipping she jumped right in to help us get it sorted out with the postal company. Thank you Sian, it’s a privilege to have your artwork in our home.

5 out of 5 starsFirstly apologies to Sian for for the delayed review of her wonderful tea towel. We saved this to use over Christmas and it did not disappoint, well made and lovely quality to withstand the use it took over the festive period. It has just been washed and it is as good as the day we first got it. Thanks Sian highly recommended a great product.

5 out of 5 starsThis portrait of a Westie is absolutely beautiful and looks just like my Mums little dog. Sian is a very talented artist and her art featuring wildlife is incredible. I couldnt be happier with the portrait, the way it was caringly packaged and the lovely hedgehog thank you card enclosed. I am sure that Sian will sell many more pieces from her shop and I definitely will be a repeat customer.

5 out of 5 starsAbsolutely wonderful couple of greeting cards. The ink is richer and darker than I anticipated, which really makes the artwork pop. And the cards are bigger than I expected too, on nice thick, smooth stock. Packaging was delightful and Sian has been lovely in her messages to me. Overall a very pleasant transaction! Super happy.

Ink scribblings and things
My art teacher always used to say that a happy painting was boring- I opened this shop to try and prove otherwise!
My illustrations didn't start from a strike of inspiration, they came from wanting to go against the flow of my technical drawing skills. One night, in a bit of a stress, I picked up the broken end of a nearby paintbrush and started to pull ink around a blank piece of paper. This technique felt unfamiliar and after a while pulled me out of the rut I had found myself in when painting 'classical' artwork. Rather than spending hours blending shades in acrylic, working meticulously to create the form, shape and texture of a subject, I had instead created a mouse which appeared round-bellied and curious, despite its stark and minimal style.
My illustrations look much like my handwriting, but when I sketch I don't use normal stationary. I like to use the pointed end of a broken paintbrush; wood has an absorbency that takes away the scratchiness.
