I'm graphic designer Megan Rose, and the products I design for Silhouette Blue are the perfect way to say "I'm thinking of you". Whether you're shopping for a thoughtful gift, or notecards to perfectly reflect your own personality, Silhouette Blue Stationery is here to add joy and style to your correspondence. With my unique balance of timeless and on-trend designs, I specialize in crisp, bold illustrations paired with a wide array of customizations. I pride myself on attention to detail, quick turnaround time, and a personal shopping experience.
Silhouette Blue was launched in May 2006 as my senior design project at Loyola University Chicago. What started as a line of 30 greeting cards is now a well-edited collection of custom stationery, personalized gifts, and wedding invitations. All of my products are designed, printed, assembled and packaged by hand in my studio, with love, just for you.

Frequently asked questions
What is your production / turnaround time?
3-4 business days, plus shipping time.
Will I receive a proof before my order is fulfilled?
Digital proofs before printing are sent upon request only. You will not receive a proof automatically.
You can leave me a note with your proof request at checkout, in the same area you leave your personalization. Production may begin soon after you purchase, so please request your proof with your order or immediately after! Once production begins I can still send a proof, but unfortunately we will not be able to make any changes.
Proofs will be sent via Etsy Convo (Etsy's internal messaging system) no later than 48 business hours after you place your order. Your order will not be printed until you approve the proof. Please note that if you request a proof, my current turnaround time begins after the proof is approved.
Will my order be accurate if I do not request a proof?
Absolutely! I will copy and paste your personalization directly from your order. So as long as your spelling and capitalization are accurate, your personalized product will be accurate.
The only time I will change your provided personalization is when an apostrophe is incorrectly added to a family or couple's last name. Example: "The Smith's" will be changed to "The Smiths". This is the grammatically correct format.
What kind of printing and paper do you use?
Silhouette Blue products are digitally flat printed with archival inks. Notecard paper is a 100lb cover bristol - heavier than standard cover weight paper, slightly textured and 25% cotton. Notepad paper is a 60lb text weight - beautifully soft and smooth. Envelopes are heavyweight with a pointed flap.
Will a logo be printed on my product?
The Silhouette Blue logo is printed on the back of all personalized notecards, and on the chipboard backing of notepads. If you would like your personalized product to be logo free please let me know.
Can I send my order as a gift straight to the recipient?
Yes! Let me know if your order is a gift and I can include a note from you in the package. Your receipt will also have the pricing information removed.

How will my order be packaged?
NOTECARDS: Packaged in a Keepsake Signature Box. Quantities of 30 or more cards will come in multiple Signature Boxes.
NOTEPADS & PRINTS: Packaged in a clear cello sleeve.
What are your shipping options?

US SHIPPING:
All orders are shipped via the United States Postal Service. Packages usually spend 2-6 days in transit, depending on how far from Chicago you are. Need it faster? A Priority Mail upgrade (2-3 days in transit) is available at checkout for $5.00.
