My name is Stephen St.Amant, owner of Silver Birch Pottery. I create handmade wheel thrown functional pottery. I like to think that my artwork can change a daily activity such as drinking coffee, to a ritualistic or ceremonial experience that engages all the senses.

I have been working with clay since the 1980s, and have honed my artistic style over the years. I am inspired by the fact that I can be held responsible for adding art to someone else’s daily life for their personal enjoyment. My art comes with a story.
