Silver Crosses Jewellery/ Paul Raynor Designs

I do lots of different artistic things as you will see.

I have been hand making Sterling Silver Crosses and other jewellery items for a long time and they have given pleasure to many people and my range of jewellery concentrates mainly on the cross. For my jewellery I work mainly with sheet sterling silver but also gold, precious and semi precious stones and pearls which I particularly like.

I also decorate with my own designs on beautiful English bone china with my Wildflowers design being constantly popular. I also design and decorate a range of original fun ceramic mugs and cards which can be found on my PaulMugman Etsy site

I make other souvenir items like fridge magnets, mats etc. which are popular items in our tourist area.
I mainly do pen and watercolour illustration work for my ceramics etc. but I do enjoy making my largish bright acrylic abstract paintings which have a mid-century style.
Please visit my other site for a better idea of my varied art pursuits

I live with my wife Margaret near Hastings (the region is now often 1066 country) on the South Coast of England.
I love living in the area with it’s very varied local scenery is beautiful offering long walks along the cliffs. The seasonal changes both to the sea and land gives me inspiration and time to think of new things to make.
Hastings town is very famous because of The Battle of Hastings in year 1066 which is probably the best known historical date in UK. It also has the largest beach launched fishing fleet remaining in the whole of the United Kingdom.

My Daughter Claire lives in Perth Australia and is now considered one of the top Australian designers in her field. She designs quilting fabrics and a range of very colourful patchwork and quilting patterns all of which are sold world wide. Look at her Etsy site:-

All my items are listed as accurately as I can so please check each listing carefully, noting all sizing and measurements.
All goods will be sent very carefully packaged by Royal Mail first class signed for or First class depending on items if in UK. Goods sent abroad can have a tracking number if requested but many destinations do not provide tracking services.

If any items are lost in the post, a Royal Mail loss claim will be logged and you will be reimbursed once Royal Mail have been informed of the loss and a refund is received.

If you find a product to be actually faulty, rather than just leaving me negative feedback please contact me within 14 days of receipt and I will make every effort to rectify the problem to your complete satisfaction.
Postage costs will also be refunded where applicable.
Returns are only accepted if you return goods within 14 days of receiving them, otherwise refunds will not be granted. Please advise me first if you are sending anything back.

All my pieces are individually handmade by me to be as near as possible to the item illustrated. However please note that every attention is given to the workmanship to produce a well made item. The crosses are not commercially made stamped out affairs, but handmade, and you might find some small blemishes or imperfections. I do believe the real cross was never a thing of beauty it must have been ugly and probably had been used before. I am sorry but unless there is a clear fault in the goods I am unable to refund items that have been individually made to order..

It is advised that you obtain the minimum of a certificate of posting from the Post Office (or overseas equivalent) as I can not be held responsible for goods lost in transit. Please note the returning customer is responsible for payment of return postage
There are two ways to pay.
1. via Paypal. This means that you can use any major credit card, without signing up for a paypal account if you don't want to. If you would like further information about this, there is a handy article explaining the process here -

2. via etsy's direct checkout, which means you may use any major credit or debit card.
Please make specially sure that the correct delivery address is put onto the order as I cannot be held responsible for non delivery because of this reason.

All orders are individually handmade and are normally dispatched within 5 to 7 working days after receipt of the order.
Items depending on what they are will be shipped to UK address via Royal Mail 1st class signed for or 1st class (usually 1-2 days delivery time).

Items 'outside of the UK' will be shipped via Airmail (7-14 days delivery time/busy holiday periods will take longer).

Postage & Packaging within the UK FREE, and £0.00 for each additional item.
(1st Class Signed For or First Class)

Postage & Packaging outside the UK is sent 1st Class via Airmail. Prices are as follows:
EU Countries: £3.90 and £1.00 for each additional item
All Other listed Countries: £4.75
Rest of the World £4.75
There is an option to receive your order via tracked and signed for delivery at extra charge.

For larger items, especially those that bear a Hallmark the postal charges are more. All items of this nature are dispatched via Royal Mail and are always sent on a tracked, signed for basis in UK . Tracking services are not always available for many foreign destinations but will be used if possible. The delivery times of all Hallmarked items could be up to two weeks.

Please note:
I cannot be held responsible for delays in delivery once the package has been passed to the Royal Mail or for delays in delivery due to circumstances out of my control, such as postal strikes or the Christmas holiday period when delivery is always slower. Should an exceptional event occur I will inform you of this at the time of purchase or as near to it as possible.

Shipping outside of the UK may take longer, up to as much as 6 weeks but it can be much quicker - 2-3 working days to the rest of Europe and 3-7 working days to the US or Australia.

For Overseas orders I cannot be held responsible for packages lost in transit once they have been passed to the Royal Mail as insurance is not available. However if there is a problem at any stage please do contact me and I will try to rectify the problem to your satisfaction as soon as I possibly can.

I reserve the right to alter or amend this, at my discretion, at any stage.

Please note that orders placed outside of the EU may be liable for local customs duty/import taxes on delivery, this is entirely out of my control as are any delays in delivery due to customs interventions. Payment of such customs amounts are the responsibility of the person the package is addressed to.
