Announcement   -->> Starting Oct 1st we will begin our annual donations to Red Cross. We will donate 10% of every sale thru Dec 31st, and donation confirmation will be posted on our fb page...

THIS WEEK -->> WOOHOO!! I finally found a good supply of Clear AB spheres, so will have them listed very soon :D
Still polishing, polishing, polishing :) Brass, Bronze and Nickel...in all styles.

I have been making jewelry for over 30 years. Everything from beaded work, to silver and gold smithing...but my favorite is the Free Form wire work you will see here. All of my metalwork is made with recycled metals.

For 14 years I apprenticed with a master craftsman...and we made many different styles of jewelry. Though the free form wire work is still my favorite, I do enjoy making other styles. In our shop you may find some very unique pieces, and a wide variety of styles..so Enjoy!

Such a beautiful and useful item. My photo does not do it justice. I love its light weight that does not pull my hair down. But it is sturdy enough to hold my fine hair.

Definitely need to get a bigger one. I underestimated how thick my hair is! Thankfully I've got someone I can gift this to, though, so I'm not upset about it. It's beautiful, shiny, and such a unique piece.

About

Handcrafted Jewelry & Long Hair Accessories

I began apprenticing in metal work at 14 years old, and have worked with metal ever since.

14 years working with the man who taught me the free form work (which is my favorite)...and then 8 years doing wax working, casting, fabricating, models, molds, polishing, lapidary etc...primarily in gold 14k, 18k
Along with retail selling, managing, merchandising...we made some of the coolest shops where you walk into the theme. Cave walls with lighting just so, as a place to sell crystals, geodes and beautiful rock specimens...Art galleries, to street vending. Craft fairs, and jewelry shows.

I began beading, leather working and Wampum Carving when I was small, and still love them too. When I have the time, I like to bead very much. You can see our other shop Pohakanten Studios here... https://www.etsy.com/shop/Elewmompittseh

I have gone into other forms of metalwork also, with stained glass, boat building (though I prefer wooden boats) and even plumbing. But I always seem to come back to jewelry.

For a while, I took a break from the metal and retail...and then began making jewelry at home, going to the shows and fairs. Eventually I was partners in running some of the very large, high traffic fairs...
Now, I am quite content making things at home and selling worldwide on Etsy.

My customers here are some of the nicest people I have ever known...
A special thanks to my Long Hair Community customers, and Charlotte for modeling with her beautiful hair and helping me with the functionality of the Hair Hooks :)
You all let me love the work I do...

Custom orders must be paid before we begin making them.

Shipping
***We live far from the post office, and will make the trip in to drop off all packages once or twice per week. Usually Mondays, and sometimes I make the second run in on Thursdays. This trip takes me hours, so I cannot go every day. I see in my feedback, people say either it was the fastest shipping they have ever seen, or they feel the shipping took too long. I hope this clarifies things for everyone.

All of our USA shipments are made via Standard USPS, with a tracking number, and insurance as needed.
If you prefer another shipping method, please contact us, and we can make arrangements with you.

International buyers, we will adjust the shipping costs to the actual amount prior to your purchase, if you contact us with the shipping address. If you do not contact us, then we will refund any discrepancy in the shipping cost.

*****NOTE*****
I ship ALL international packages via USPS, with the CN-22 tracking information sent to you at the time of shipping. You or I, may track your package until it leaves the US. I cannot be responsible for packages lost or with held by customs in your country, and cannot replace these items.

If your package does not arrive, I will re-send the tracking information to you, and you will need to contact your customs office, to be sure it is not being held there. They may require a copy of your invoice, which I will gladly forward to you.
Refunds and Exchanges
All custom orders are final sales.

We do ask if anyone returns something, that they please send a detailed note with the item, letting us know why. Our craftmanship is very important to us, so we would like to know.
Also in the note, should be your name and your email address.

We do not generally give refunds, but we may consider it, depending on the situation.
Returned items will be considered as Store Credit typically.
Additional policies and FAQs
If damage should occur to one of our handcrafted pieces, for any reason...we may be able to fix it for you. Please let us know, and we can discuss it.
