I LOVE my peace sign ring! And I loved working with Allison throughout the entire purchase process. The ring was to replace a much loved ring that had "disappeared" several years ago. I found alot of peace sign rings, but none very close to the original design. Allison was attentive and so helpful as I explained exactly what I wanted, and then she "created" a ring for me, nearly an exact replica of the original! The fit is perfect, and I've received many compliments. The workmanship is outstanding! Allison is truly an artist! My transaction was handled quickly and professionally. I highly recommend Allison and SilverStrings&Strands Jewelry! 1st class in every way!! Thank you so much, Allison!!

I love making jewelry. Its something that I have become obsessive about and I really enjoy it. My family helps me so it is a team effort for sure and with what I put them through they must really love me to keep at it.
I started out stringing and really wanted to expand my horizons into using more metal. So I took a jewelry making course at our local college and learned how to saw and cut metal and of course how to solder. That opened up all sorts of new methods to incorporate into my jewelry. Then I learned about precious metal clay and that was certainly a challenge but it proved to be interesting. But what I really enjoy is soldering metals and wirewrapping
When I learned about Etsy, I opened a shop but didn't put anything in it for a year as I realized I had to learn photography too! That was another brand new horizon for me to conquer as we all know its the pictures that sell your craft online and the pictures need to be really good. I'm still working on perfecting this endeavor.
I do a lot of local craft shows here in Las Vegas to sell my jewelry. I particularly like our monthly First Friday event in the Arts District downtown. I have met a lot of really nice people and get lots of repeat business down there each month. Granted, sometimes its hotter than h*ll but we make it through each time with lots of water.
I enjoy making jewelry that fits you! If adjustments need to made its not a problem. I encourage people to pick up my jewelry because I want them to feel a connection with piece. Get a relationship with it -- and decide they must take it home with them.
I guarantee all my jewelry and if you have any problems with it, you can always contact me to see if I can fix it. If I can, I will for free, however, I do ask that you pay the postage to and from for the repairs.
I want you to be happy with your jewelry and I want it to last forever.
I also have done several custom pieces as I enjoy the interaction and creativity in someone who wants something specific in mind. It provides me with a healthy challenge to come up with just what you want. So go ahead, ask me to create something for you and give me an idea of what you want and I will dig around in my studio and see what I can come up with.
Sales, Sales, Sales
This is Anissa, my granddaughter. She is so excellent at selling my jewelry at the various craft shows and events we do here in Las Vegas. She is the best, and of course, every piece is her FAVORITE piece. She is very skilled in closing the sale.

I started out making jewelry from some plastic beads I got on clearance with some birthday money at a Michael's store. Those earrings were so cheesey! Fortunately, it sparked my interest to take my journey to whole new horizons.
Ted helps me with a variety of tasks from setting up my studio, making places for drills stands, fixing dremels, critiquing my work, and hauling and setting up everything at the shows and events we attend. I couldn't do it without him.
