primitive handmade goods, primitive cross stitch, primitive punch needle

Welcome Folk & Friend

Hello, I am the self taught artisan behind Simple Thyme Prims. Bringing you offerings of handmade smalls in primitive punch needle, primitive cross stitch, rug hooking and hand painted goods.

I grew up in small town Indiana and still reside about 20 miles from my hometown. Creativity has always been in my heart. After spending over 25 years in the manufacturing industry the time had finally come for me to follow my heart. I began sewing, cross stitching and painting, then through a local group I learned about punch needle, rug hooking and found so much joy in the primitive world. My dream is to begin creating my own designs in both cross stitch and punch needle. I opened an Etsy shop in 2010 and have sold my handmade goods there as well as on Ebay.

I am most thankful for the simple things in life, wish for what you need, make-do with what you have. Dream of leaving a better place for those to follow.

"what a blessing to spend my time doing what I love"
