Great afternoon to stitch. Finishing orders, then I will be working to get all of the Priscilla's Pocket designed salt glazed pottery pieces. Reminiscent of wonderful old salt glazed crocks. I want one of each! So sweet, especially the bird designs!

About

primitive cross stitch, primitive punch needle

Hello, I am the self taught artisan behind Simple Thyme Prims. Bringing you offerings of handmade smalls in primitive punch needle, primitive cross stitch, rug hooking and hand painted goods.

I grew up in small town Indiana and still reside about 20 miles from my hometown. Creativity has always been in my heart. My mother instilled the 'maker' in me. After spending over 25 years in the manufacturing industry the time had finally come for me to follow my heart. I began sewing, cross stitching and painting, then through a local group I learned about punch needle, rug hooking and found so much joy in the primitive world. My dream is to begin creating my own designs in both cross stitch and punch needle. I opened an Etsy shop in 2010 and have sold my handmade goods there as well as on Ebay.

I am most thankful for the simple things in life, wish for what you need, make-do with what you have. Dream of leaving a better place for those to follow.

“what a blessing to spend my time doing what I love”

thank you kindly
~ronda

Welcome to Simple Thyme Prims! My shop is reflective of an earlier, simpler time. Unique handmade items to adorn your farmhouse style or primitive home. Most items are aged using a walnut crystal dye to obtain that look of old, should you prefer a more antiqued extreme look, or a more subtle aging, or no aging at all, please let me know as it is a process that is completed at the end of the project and can be modified to suit your individual liking.

Enjoy your visit and please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions.
