I love my turtle ring. It's so pretty and so comfortable. I have a bit of trouble with it making my finger black, but I'm hoping that effect will wear off the longer i was it.

This is my second order from Meg. Once again, she was wonderful to deal with, fast shipping and the earrings are gorgeous. More so in real life than in photos. Can't recommend her work highly enough.

Musings in Metal

Making art and specifically art jewelry is my way of interpreting the world around me in tangible form. I am influenced by everything I come across, particularly nature, often using found objects in my work.

I am particularly pleased that my work goes out into the world by way of the adornment of a moving body rather than waiting for the world to find it on a stationary structure.

I work from two studios on opposite sides of the world; South Bend, IN, USA from May through October and Hahei, Coromandel Peninsula, New Zealand from November through April.

Changing studios every six months is challenging in regards to supplies, inventory, shipping and keeping my etsy shop up to date. However, I feel extremely lucky to live by two very large bodies of water, the sea and the Great Lakes, and my work is strongly influenced by them.

I like to work in series creating bodies of work that develop a specific theme. Each piece, although similar to others, is unique due to the handmade process or the natural materials incorporated into it. Due to the production technique, the kelp rings and bracelets are especially unique, cannot be duplicated, and thus are one of a kind.

It is important to me to have my creative hand work in each and every piece that I sell.

I take great care in my work and make each piece to the best of my ability, using quality materials. My jewelry will be sent out in optimal condition. If you have any concerns or issues with your purchase please contact me within 14 days of receiving your shipment. If the problem cannot be rectified I am willing to exchange or refund your purchase minus shipping if it shipped back to me in it's original condition and unworn. Custom orders are not returnable.
Rings are made to the size that is specified when ordered. Please be accurate in requesting the ring size. Your finger can be measured at a local jeweler. If a ring needs to be altered I charge a resizing and reshipping fee which will be posted as a listing. I only resize and repair jewelry that I have made.
I accept payments through Paypal, and etsy direct checkout. Please make payments at time of purchase. I will begin to process your order once your payment is received or your e-check has cleared through Paypal. Please allow 1-10 business days for producing and shipping your order.
I ship via US postal service; first class mail world wide. I am not responsible for packages lost in transit. If you would like your shipment insured or expedited please convo me for pricing.

International customs and duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

I am a firm believer of recycling so shipping materials such as packing filler, boxes and padded envelopes may be on their second use. However, your purchases will be sent, well protected, in a new recyclable paper presentation packet, suitable for gift giving.
