SisterMintaka

Sister Mintaka is the one of three stars. Have you spotted them in the nights sky? They all align in a diagonal line and form Orion's Belt. These three stars are often referred to as the Three Sisters. The highest star of the three is called Mintaka, and that's how we came up with our store's name; Sister Mintaka.

It's wonderful to be able to name our shop after our favourite thing in the universe.

Our second favourite thing is fabric! We are just just like the rest of you fabric addicts. Our personal stashes are incredibly curated collections... or at least that's how I like to think of my stash. I don't know what the others would say about that!

Our passion for shopping for fabrics and searching the globe for the best pieces, leads to the beginning of our store. We don't have huge bolts of fabric, so once a fabric is listed it might quickly sell out! If something is super popular we will try to source more, but most of the time you'll find one offs here. My tip: Grab it while you can!

We are currently in the process of setting up our social media channels, and building our website. There's so much to do, but we want to make it perfect for you. In the meantime we'll be selling on Etsy as we just want to get the stock out and available to you.

We are expecting some very exciting deliveries, and I want you to be able to get your hands on some very special fabrics, before anyone else in the UK gets them too. (That's the plan anyway!)
