Announcement   In my 45 years of metalsmithing experience, I have always looked within for balance and imagination in my work, life and interactions with you. Please enjoy these indicators of my path. Perhaps a piece will suit you well and our paths will meet for a while! The one of a kind items pictured are what you will receive. They are done and ready to ship when I get your order confirmation. If I offer to make a product in custom sizes, it usually happens quickly and the quality is as nice as the photo you chose from. Convo me if you have a question about anything! If you think I am the right artist to do a special project for you, please contact me without hesitation.

Shipping: If I charge postage for jewelry pieces, I charge about half and pay the rest. Those of you from another country will be charged a minimal amount for shipping. Please realize that I do not pay any duties or taxes that are due upon arrival in European countries. That is your responsibility.

I take a break from custom work on the last few days of each month to spend full time in creative mode. I assure you I will get back to orders on the first with a fresh energy and finish your project quickly.

As of June 1, 2012, I committed to sending 5% of my sales income to a worthy cause. I expect to choose a new one each month and am always looking around for suggestions. If you have one, please leave it in the "message to seller" when you purchase an item.

Long earrings aren't my thing but these were so pretty I couldn't resist! They are even more beautiful in person.

About

Living The Dream

I'm from the old school. Honestly! I apprenticed for room and board to learn my trade from Ron and Cindy of Wild Country Silverworks back in the 70's. It was so cool when they gave me a bag of Turquoise one Christmas and said, "From now on you will get paid for your work"! When the company closed, my sister and I decided to begin our own, as she had begun working with us on weekends....thus 'Sisters Silver' began. When she left, I just dropped the plural and became my own boss and partner. I have studied books and learned from other artists and classes until I could burst! I love mixing all the stuff I learned into a style that is my own. At present, thanks to Etsy, I am a full time artist in my own studio, exploring all the possibilities of this wonderful world of stones and metal. It is really close to Heaven!

45 years experience creating jewelry pieces began when I stepped into a garage studio and fell in love with the processes going on there. Since then my enjoyment of metalwork has only grown, though the processes have changed with the times.

My son, Jason is a great man with the hammer. He enjoys working with metal and has a love for fire and forming. He is beginning to add stock to my copper bracelet selections and may soon add other things from his forge made of iron or steel.

Thanks to Etsy, I can let them do a lot of the footwork and continue with my first love...metalwork! It is my rule to do shows only with people who do their own work, so a web shop with the same idea makes me know I am in the right place. Every thing I make is "from scratch" and made by me or occasionally my son. My work constantly evolves and changes...with certain ideas staying on longer than others. All of it is a work of love and growth.

Payment
Paypal or Direct Checkout are the best payment methods for myself and my customer. They both accept credit cards and make it possible for me to send your item immediately. If you need to send a check or money order, I will send the item as soon as it is cleared. If you need to cancel an order, do it immediately, please!
Shipping
It is easiest for me to send jewelry items through the post office...The same applies for most of my work, since it is seldom so heavy as to merit going to UPS or FED-EX. I share the cost of sending jewelry items with my customer. If it is a large item or supplies, I charge what I think it will cost to ship. Combining items always saves on cost of shipping, as we all know.
Refunds and Exchanges
If the item arrives damaged or it doesn't arrive...please let me know and we will get your purchase to you. I will have sent it, rest assured. If you feel I misrepresented an item, we will work it out or get you a refund. Customized pieces will be dealt with on a piece by piece basis, but if a name is on it a refund is doubtful!
Additional policies and FAQs

Any other questions will be answered by yours truly if you care to contact me! :)
